I'm glad to hear that Bring the noise now called Dogbite is not just a fill , I'd like to hear the best possible recording of it cuz it might end up as a live only track played couple of times.

thx for all the info guys

moaners like you are so predictable. 'same old shit' - i agree, they could change it up a bit. if they cut "diesel power" or "breathe" or whatever people like u would moan that you can't cut them from the setlist because these tunes r classics.
plus, yeah you can't argue with people claiming "dogbite" is a dubstep track.

first off, im not moaning, im expressing my opinion, which is legit and based on arguments and valid facts.
second, by me, they can scrap Breathe, Firestarter and all that shit from the setlist, who cares about classics, im not stuck with the past hits, this band has a lot more to offer than that crap.
third, who cares if its dubstep or not.

And the new tunes that are gonna be played at Download Festival are these two (which were premier last December). anyone wanna bet?

I'm afraid the time has come that Prodigy are stuck in the past.

I used to follow them around europe and outside to experience their gigs and be excited. That feeling is a bit gone now.

Always the same show & fills...even the lights looked poor from that vid. They should experiment with visuals, implement lasers, see through led screens...

Watched orbital 2 weeks ago, what a fresh set. Totally different compared to their show 2 years ago. Just an audiovisual orgasm and they are even older.

It is an exciting time technically to vary live sets from gig to gig, it's much easier and faster to do nowadays. I think the words 'lazy' & 'comfort zone'
are sadly suitable for the Prodigy now.

It's a bit pathetic that you can gues 95% of the setlist + order of tracks after 4 years. All the swearing, flashy lights and jumping around really seem a bit
like a gimmick now.

My 2 cents...

-I thought orbital ended many years ago, nice to hear they are back.

-It's sure there will be some good recordings of the show especially from the sitting crowd.I cannot understant how can someone watch sitting

-I think the band is at the stage of their 2nd burn-out, similar to 1999-2003

The problem can be that they don't have "strict" contract for next album

on their worst day the prodigy are still better than 99% of the so called electronic crap that's out there.

DOGBITE. killer track that is! really starting to feel it, even though I think it's a track you need to hear and feel live. don't really see while people are bitching about the lack of new tracks. expectations ruin everything.. i'm glad I expected the least and got DOGBITE and awol after all.. even though it's true their show has been the same for too long now. I agree with streamblenda on that point, their shows aren't surprising anymore. they're starting to be a bit like coldplay tbh. chris martin with all his 'everybody okay?' 200 times a gig starts to get fucking annoying after a few gigs.

I have this feeling Liam really wants to make music, but is not happy enough with what he made. Liam only wants to play a track when he's sure it'll be a bomb. I guess there's a shitload of songs on that laptop of him.. and only a few get played.

Liam should play more of those songs, and maxim should become a real MC again!

but after all, the prodigy are still best of the best and i'm sure more songs will be played as soon as the festival season kicks off. still waiting for JETFIGHTER now

oh and lmao guys not everything is fucking dubstep

Dogbite sounds very RUN DMC-ish 8-)

Wouldn't be surprised if there is another new track for this evening.
