Both crap. I don't hold much hope of them making anything decent again unfortunately.

It's a bit strange that both the new tracks only seem to last around 2 minutes each. When 'Warriors Dance', 'World's On Fire' and 'Unstoppable' were played for the first time they were full length tracks. 'Fills' tend to last a couple of minutes but both the new tracks have full lyrics (verse and chorus) which 'Fills' don't have usually. I wonder if the new tracks will make it to the album or will they turn out to be 'in between' tracks?

I hate this short tracks. imd was filled with short tracks. and if one got away a little bit longer, they chopped it when they played it live. they need to make some long tracks again, and play them live like that. 17 tracks in a setlist and it only lasts an hour

It's probably more to do with gauging reactions at the moment and they are still works in progress. In the two minutes of Dogbite, the crowd were going nuts, so I'd say that will probably make it onto the album in a full track whereas AWOL seems a bit more subdued and will stay a live only track for the next few gigs and then disappear.

I prefer the dark and moody sound from AWOL compared to Dogbite.
But I dont think any of these two tracks will make it on the new album tbh (dnno why, just a feeling )

I prefer the virst version of AWOL ut the synth part in the second one is very good, for dogbite it's nice and punchy and in all the case it's cool to have something new and great

Dogbite = Dogshite. AWOL - New version is awful. Much preferred the recent faster version and even that wasn't brilliant. My guess is that the album is further away than we think and these tracks won't see the light of day.

I prefer first AWOL because it's darker and has better synth breakdown and structure, and the beats seem more mad. I do like the new synth sound with the beats in the new version though. Perhaps add that new synth sound to the first version...
