James Bond 'Skyfall' Plot Details Revealed
16 January 2012
Daniel Craig is back as James Bond, and though details of his next adventure, "Skyfall," are being kept closely under wraps, Sony did reveal a few tantalizing clues in an official plot summary released this week.
The hotly anticipated film doesn't hit theaters until November 7, but it sounds like 007's next mission will severely test his relationship with his mentor, M (Judi Dench).
"In 'Skyfall,' Bond's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her," the summary reads. "As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."
Sounds like Dench will have more to do this go-round than simply deliver ultimatums to her skirt-chasing protege.
In addition to Craig and Dench, the "Skyfall" cast boasts Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Ben Chaplin, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes. Sam Mendes ("American Beauty") directs.

Skyfall Teaser Trailer Arrives
21 May 2012
Our initial reaction to 007's return
The first footage of the first James Bond film in four years, Skyfall, was unveiled on BBC1 this morning and has now blasted onto the web.
Our first thoughts? Wow. This is what we're talking about. Guns, explosions, droll banter, dazzling locations, careering tube trains, and more guns.
There's action - lots of it - and a first glimpse of Sam Mendes' big bad Silva, Javier Bardem, caught in silhouette walking away from a blazing inferno.
Skyfall's plot may be divorced from Quantum but clearly Bond's fractured psyche, a major throughline of 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solace', is still playing into things in a major way.
If you're watched Homeland lately you'll know that espionage and psychology don't usually mix, so we're assuming this word association game is something of a last chance saloon for 007. It's also a neat way to introduce us to the mysterious 'Skyfall', a term Bond is clearly no stranger to ("Skyfall?" asks the interrogator. "Done," retorts 007).

Looks like a dark Fincheresque thriller, like it (not a fan of Bond movies in general, but I like what I see here)

James Bond Is Greatest Film Franchise
31 May 2012
007 beats Star Wars, Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter
James Bond has been fighting terrorists, enemy agents and master criminals for half a century, and all that work appears to have paid off - as the series of films that depict the debonair secret agent have been named as film fans' favourite of all time.
Bond was also up against some of his most illustrious opponents - 007 beat 'Star Wars' into second place, with the 'Lord of The Rings' trilogy coming in third.
The poll was orchestrated to celebrate the release of Prometheus, the summer sci-fi blockbuster that is rebooting the Alien film franchise. It was conducted by the film subscription service Lovefilm, and polled almost 3000 film lovers to reach its conclusion.
The blockbuster hit of the summer 'Marvel's Avengers' - which consists of the Ironman, Thor, Captain America and Hulk movies, came a lowly ninth, whilst 'Harry Potter' and 'The Godfather' films made up the top 5.
Bond will have the chance to add to his legend this autumn when the latest film in the Bond franchise, starring Daniel Craig opens in cinemas.

Oh, they may hope all the want but it will never fuckin' happen. Amy Winehouse was supposed to sing the new Bond theme song but with her gone it's gonna be Adele now. It's expected to be more in style with the classic Shirley Bassey sung Bond themes of yesteryear like 'Goldfiner' and 'Diamonds Are Forever'.
