How To Steal A Jet Fighter :)

So they're going with this name. I was hoping they'll change their mind. Maybe the title will grow on me.

Looks like someone looking at the mig, which from looking at it i would say it is on some sort of plinth or something and not actually flying...

and THANK GOD for putting spitfire back on the setlist, huuuuge track. never understood why they took it off the setlist, anyway.. it's back now! spitfast still sounds a bit silly to me, but i'm glad they're changing the setlist!

this website is getting funnier by the minute... first, people complain that this band has tons of great old tunes that they could play live and never/rarely do... then the band starts playing some of these old tunes. wich results in other people complaining that they allways play the same old tunes. ...then the prodigy starts playing a few new tracks.... then people complain that they arent playing enough new tracks.

oh man.. you people.

its a fact.

that version of spitifire is a shit, but still good that they changed a song from the setlist...still not enough for a band that got a huge catalogue and this isnt festival shows, its their own shows, sure theres bandwagons in the crowd, but theres fans that want to hear other stuff than this lazy setlist they been playing for so fucking long. shame on them, shame on them and their laziness.

i do like that background, minus the font.

Yeah, this set list is kinda disappointing

And let's face it, Spitfire isn't entirely that new to the set list. It's been around for a while and they played it a few times during the IMD era.

I don't think I ever wanna hear Breathe, Voodoo People, Firestarter, Their Law, Out Of Space live ever again to be honest. Dig through the crates and bring back the good stuff. Fuuuck, the Everybody In The Place (MK Wof Mix) was great, bring that back. Original Thunder, Break & Enter, Funky Shit, Full Throttle, Skylined, Rhythm Of Life, Piranha, One Man Army, Jericho, Hyperspeed, Girls, Back To School, come on! Something different at least. There's so many tracks from their back catalog that would be a nice surprise. It's starting to feel like those old timey rock bands that stick with the same set over and over again. I love The Prodigy, but it feels like they are missing great opportunities to really destroy it by playing songs they have been playing for over a decade straight.

exactly mate, totally agree with you. Dont scrap the entire setlist, but for god sake, put some freshness in it with old flavours, theres plenty of stuff. and saying tweeking tracks is freshness, it isnt, when you play that same shit all over the world.
as i said before, this totally looks like the band is only cashing in. and fuck that excuse that this is the setlist that makes them most powerful. they probably got a doc in Mike Champions laptop ready for print at venues titled setlist-(dont_forget_to_exchange_the_venue_and_date_and_leave_the_rest_intact).doc

It finally feels like the boys are back on form like the Jilted and FotL days and its being squandered on playing the same tracks all the time. And who knows, maybe trying something different might inspire some creativeness.

And if they wanted to stick with the same tracks, rearrange them once and while. It wouldn't be as bad as the same exact order every night. That just makes it much worse. If they flipped tracks around, I don't think it would bother some of us as much. But I don't want to go to a Prodigy concert knowing exactly what to expect and when to expect it. Ruins the whole feel for me. It was awesome when they dropped Thunder (Album rework, not dub version) and Comanche when I saw them in NYC back in '09. It was a nice surprise. Scrap World's On Fire and open with Thunder (Album rework)... now THAT would be a fucking opening to choon to die for. At NYC, people went fucking apeshit when that song started... and that's in NYC! When they barely even come over here and the album was still pretty new at the time, people at NYC show still recognized that track as soon as it started. And the crowd was just a mass of movement going crazy. It was so fucking sweet to experience. Now that's an opening track... World's On Fire feels flat to me... not really an opening track.

worlds on fire, combined with this "parliament is being asked" intro is just about the best opening they ever came up with.

so good to see them live again and that little surprise about SPITFAST was great. i'm not worring about the setlist, tho these kind of little surprises should happen more often. recorded spitfast, but the quality can't stand criticism.

also have few complaints. i was missing some chest punching, wall shaking strong bass. It's kind a different every gig and weird thing is, depending the sound, it makes different tracks stand stand out every time.
but fuck that. guys really did it again!

about the background image, can in be the picture hanging in their studio?
way back home, we saw old jetfighter's on the field, some kind of museum. and not impossible there was same jet like on the background image, post the pic later!

and it was very cool to meet BK people, had a lot's of fun!

I'm very happy about Spitfire return bacause I've heard this track on concert five years ago :) This part called Spitfast is also nice. People said that they want Spitfire and some of them said that they want Wake The Fuck Up so You have everything together ;)

Please let someone make a photo of Jetfighter background at the gig :) Want to recreate this font etc. :)

I am not 100% sure, but I think this is first time that prodigy used all 5 albums on same gig. It's nice to see that something from AONO survive.
