So we're just wondering if you guys thought The Prodigy's first album to be called "The Prodigy Experience" or just "Experience". Or another crazy answer.

I will give you the most simple answer imaginable.
- The album is called Experience, because for an album you have to write the band's name and the album's title. So it cannot be The Prodigy - The Prodigy Experience
- The album is called The Prodigy Experience because there's nothing on the cover to indicate these two things are seperated, like a simple "–".

it's simple... they are called The Prodigy and wanted to name their album Experience... something that when said works with their name and flows and also makes a statement.

there's no debate, its just called Experience... but also a play on their name and album title.

on sites, it's just listed as Experience, not The Prodigy Experience

I saw somewhere can't remember where that they named the album experience in hommage to "the Jimmy Hendrix Experience" don't know if it's true or not but it's a possiblity

Had I not heard people saying the album was called "The Prodigy Experience", I would never have thought it could be called this way. And now I see one fourth of people think so, I find it surprising.

Don't worry. This always happens. The shit that went down before the AONO and IMD albums came out could make any visitor wonder if there were fans here at all.

And FWIW, I've always read the album title as The Prodigy Experience, as a nod to The Jimi Hendrix Experience. However it's perfectly acceptable to just call it Experience. My 2c.

You could say 'The Prodigy's Experience' (just like The Prodigy's Fat of the Land). It's kind of in between The Prodigy Experience and The Prodigy - Experience.

Some call it simply 'Experience' (I like this; simple, elegant), some take a deep breath and say 'The Prodigy Experience' (cheesy Jimi Hendrix pun? Meh), some call it 'first album', some call it 'the album with Out of Space on it', some call it the 'rave album', some probably just call it '90s shit' or 'fucked up British fast drums happy rave techno noise'.

...Whatever man, we know what every one means, we get the point: It's all the same goddamn album for fuck's sake.
