do you ever think it might happen? some special gigs in which they would perform MFTJG, TFOTL, AONO or IMD in their fullness? i guess Experience is ruled out, since they cant keep up with the bpms nowadays. Sure it never would be a a exactly performance of the album, different version of the tracks, like B&E (05 edit), thunder dub, etc count.

i think its more like, the whole album would have to be remixed, and plus a lot of the tracks dont really work as well live (not that much of the music is live with prodigy, pretty much a multitrack with vox guitar and drums thrown over it)
metallica play really long sets and have played all their hits a million times more than prodigy, so when they play something different its a much greater relief for them, they need to do it to stay sane and be able to stand playing the same shit show after show..
one thing that would be great would be for them to play most of the album before it drops, good way to test the waters, and any weakness in the tracks would be surpassed because the tracks would be brand new and people would just be excited to hear new shit.. problem is finding the right place to do this, i think itd have to be done specifically for this purpose.
the average idiots just wanna hear the hits

Maybe some club shows in their motherland? With only tickets for whom who are on mailing list (as it was in 2008?)

If they ever did then the album would have to be Jilted. It's their most seminal piece. It would work best played through live start to finish. If all tracks need to be updated/remixed then so be it.
I'd agree that it should be played to exclusive fans only. Limited numbers say 1000 people and it should be a once off.
But it's never gonna happen.

I voted yes, a bit like the Scream have done recently. As Stuie wrote, it would have to be Jilted.
I could see that happening.

i dont find it necessary that a band (any band) plays a full album of theirs live. but i do find it necessary that they play tracks from EVERY album, except if they already have 15 albums out. but since prodigy has only 5, they could solve it. nothing from experience except boring hello-goodbye-thankyou out of space? shame. nothing from aono???? shaaaaame, and oooops, what's that? finally they started to play spitfire again? just about fucking time.

josh homme talked about doing that with qotsa in an interview...i think it would be great but i wont hold my breath...they have a hard enough time as it is just getting a new album out
having said that a limited gig...say for the hardcore bk and neko fans would be great
qotsa did a fan gig at reading last year where the fans submitted tunes they wanted the band to play and they picked the top whatever number and played those...good idea

Each album has non-live tracks, so it's definitely a big NO for me. I wish though, I wish... (but 5+ hours of live is just too much).
