I estimate at least another year till we actually get any new stuff in studio form

sounds okay to me.
ive got plenty fucking things to wait anyway, im not a fan who listens only to prodigy, there are about ten tons of other bands that i like and there are a lot of them who are supposed to release smth new this year.

(but okay, infected mushroom highly fucked it up with that new album... shiiiit what a shame)

i love the shit keith does on stage, i honestly think this is the best its ever been, even if it is 'acting' a part, the fact is, hes not on drugs any more, we will never get that glazed stair like he is losing his mind, but if anything its better, its sustainable into the future, theres no risk of them burning out going this way.

and for people getting shitty about other people having negative opinions about some aspects, you are just as bad really, complaining about complaining. this is my observation, not my complaint, i dont really give a fuck tbh

id rather be true to myself than blindly follow someone thru thick and thin even if i disagree with a couple minor things - the core shit that makes us fans will always be there, so dont go telling people to fuck off because they arent as sheepish as you, without debate, this isnt a forum, just a long conga line of cock suckers..

From The Prodigy.ru Forum,

The new song Jeftfighter is like Stab

The Prodigy - Stab (Tokyo Studio Coast, 2008)

listen in 02:52 =)

ok so just because both tracks have eastern flute sounds (that dont even sound similar) its the same? Right

He did write "Like"

It does have the Middle Eastern Stab/Medusa's Path flute through it.

Might have something to do with the story about the defected MiG pilot, Munir Redfa, stealing a jet fighter :P

There is a film made from the story: 'Steal The Sky'

And if Liam hadn't said about Download as an opportunity to play new stuff then go do a 180 and say festivals are not the place for new stuff then people probably wouldn't be so pissed. 2 cents.

About the only thing I can hear in that recording of 'Jetfighter' is the sound of a jet engine just before the drop at around 2.17 in. I like that bit.

Yeah, I was going to post this. As soon as I saw the "How To Steal A Jetfighter" title I instantly thought of 'Firefox'.

Lot's of hard arguing here past days.
I would not want to be part of message board where it is praising only, but some negative shitt towards the band is just stupid.

"devilish" keith, who's sounding fake now, doing his schematic lyrics and singing about stabbing, biting, setting fire and fighting but i think aggresion is not a part of him anymore , if ever was..

If shitt coming from speakers is backing that up, then why not? U think he is doing shitt with Run with the wolves also? and agression being not part of him. fact him racing motor cycles proves some i think.

much worse case is when gig soundsystem hasn't got enough bass power or crowd is lame.

And the moan about the setlist can't get any worse. finaly some guys pointed about that 99,99% of the crowd are not from BK forum and they usually do wan't to hear regular stuff, especially on big rock festival, like Tomlad sayd.

And like Warrior pointed out, we can't forget that it's more about sustainability for them and also delivering equally good perfomance every time.

and Last. don't judge the music before you have heard it live yourself. Omen is best example of it. i remember when it was played first time at Zane's show and most of the people where very pessimistic, i think it's top 5 live tune ever and i think many will agree.

if i were pressed i would say omen is the best live track, in terms of a song the audience can chant, it has to be up there! while SMBU is the kind of riot tune.. i have great faith liam wont release this record unless its better than the last one.

reading through all of this crap i get the feeling that some of you "fans" became simply boring, predictable, stale, fake sounding.
if you don't like the prodigy attitude anymore, just leave it be. turn around, listen to something else. whats the point in coming back here posting the same moaning bullshit no matter what the topic is? is it less predictable than a prodigy setlist? hell no.
if you think "dogbite" is dubstep and moan about it- move on. if you think that band is no cool anymore - move on already. if you moan about the setlist - go somewhere else. if i don't wanna watch a tv show anymore i simply don't tune in. what's the big deal? instead we get the same crock crap over and over again. we got it already. liam is a cunt. the prodigy are fake now. the setlist is boring.
please tell us again and again - cause thats not fake, boring, predictable and pathetic at all.

i love you too

bad choice... those were the times when they didnt play the same setlist over and over again and they had a lot less songs than now.

I don't personally find myself obliged to think in the name of "typical festival crowd". I'm an egoist when it comes to music. I won't ever gonna claim that any performance is good, only because it is apparently getting liked by the maiority. Why should i stop think the way i always do, and start deliberating what would i felt as imagined 'typical festival attender'. For me it isn't any excuse for bullshitting us by the band.

And to respond shortly to some fuck off comments: sorry, but you don't understand what the forum idea is about. :)

I guess I got the answer to my question , spirfire28 wrote it on the official forum

Jet fighter was definitely the highlight of the night for me and by far the stand out tune of the three played from the new album. Sounds like Liam is moving towards more of a Rock / Punk feel like MFTJG for the next album.

waiting for a better rec , hope they'll play it today to the PL fans

How does MFTJG have anything to do with punk / rock

Fat of the Land with Firestarter, Breathe, Serial Thrilla, Fuel My Fire yes, but not MFTJG.
