well i would be careful because this was the second time these plates were posted on The Prodigy forums...
and by 2 different people
here's the original post...
http://theprodigy.com/forum/10-dirtcham ... sale#61951
first by PR10DGYMAN, now somersetgirl
just seems weird to me and the first one was about 7 months ago
over here in the states you can put whatever on your plates as long as its not over like 7 or 8 characters and not offensive or dirty

Quote: yeah, no link to advertisement, no picture of plate, ridiculous price, your first ever thread on here is selling something for 4.000 pound and plus your profile picture is clearly a pic from google images with a customizable number plate {abit like the one below} ...good luck with that.
from a member from The Prodigy forums after the guy asked for £4000
so 7 months ago, a person with the name PR10DGYMAN with a fake google pic of the license plate was asking for £4000 and now another person named somersetgirl is claiming they bought it 2 years and looking to sell it for £500.
no links, no pics, no ads, no proof
good luck to whoever purchases this... feels like a scam
and when 4,000 didn't work, they're going lower hoping someone goes for it

i'm not paranoid...
smells like a scam when there are multiple accounts that only have 1 to 2 posts before they disappear and are trying to sell the same thing.
i found a previous post from 2010, this time by a Craig Amos on theprodigy.com also trying to sell it
then PR10DGYMAN asking for £4000 7 months ago
and now somersetgirl has it down to £500
PR10DGYMAN said they same thing, I'll answer any questions and provide info and then disappeared. there were people interested and wanted real pics before buying, they refused and disappeared. so that's why it seems shady to me.
good luck to whoever purchases it. i hope she is legit.
was just trying to protect my fellow BKers
she has yet to respond on theprodigy.com yet
and why no pics? you'd think they would show something?
besides that fake plate pic PR10DGYMAN used

I don't quite understand what you mean by this?
I rarely even post in the for sale section.
Just trying to help keep a fellow Prodigy fan from being robbed
I provided info on what seems to be something that looks shady, do what you want with it. I'm sorry I tried to help and hopefully not get someone robbed if that is the case. I'll keep quiet next time.
I would love to hear what this person's explanation is about the multiple postings under different names.
I'm sorry, we're not allowed to have opinions on BK... totally slipped my mind. I'll shut up next time.
And here I am busting my ass on something behind the scenes that will be awesome for the BK community in the near future, but with the vibe that I get here, I ask myself why am I even bothering.

The old thread from PR10DGYMAN is still up, this was the current one by somersetgirl that got taken down
But hey if she is legit... cool,
it obviously looked strange to an outsider's perspective with posts from multiple names and disappearing. But from her explanation, PR10DGYMAN was the guy shes talking about and he didnt help himself come off as trustworthy
I just didnt wanna see a fellow BK/Prodge fam get scammed
Things looked weird and just wanted to help
But hey if shes got the proof that shows shes legit, then cool... have at it

Previous closest was PRD 19Y. But I'd much rather have MAX 1M.

This is as near as you can get atm. Don't know about the US but in the UK we have a system for registration plates, can't just put any word we like on our cars.
