There was more lights and blue, red and tricolor lasers
Skrillex? I'm not a big fan of Skrillex and I was tired, so I was at RIP area during his show, but people were crazy when I watched from behind

So many disappointment here...well, that depends on expectations I guess, and few years ago I was part of the crowd at their gigs much more frequently, would be probably feeling the same..same stuff again and this was supposed to be special
My point of view...Honestly, for the part of hearing something really new or some old tracks that we hoped for, it wasnt worthwhile...
But the main thing I expected was good gig from the guys yet again after several years and it was spot-on....good energy and i really enjoyed it
Cheers

Its a shame they didnt play new setlist but the gig was awesome they sounded much better than the last time, crowd went mental. Great gig. Stay to watch skrillex, he was good, but I was bored, I can say that in the name of the half crowd that stayed to watch him, other half enjoyed him and his music and danced to it. I cannot say he was bad, he was good but I was bored. Half of the people went home after tthe prodigy. Shame chase and status cancelled

Scrillex is so bad its beyond belief, why are these pioneers of dance music even getting these people on their festival, their standards are slipping so much, Keith and Caspa was bad enough, they are becoming so out of touch its unreal, its really sad to see the band you have loved since 1991 just becoming something they said they never would, predictable, sterile, tired, i for one hope they pack it in now, they peaked a long time ago, IMD was a decent return to form but on the grand scale of things it should of ended there... unless Liam has some sort of musical epiphany then im scared of how poor the next stuff will be...

they're too deep in the cliche of big acts having to play all the biggest hits when playing live, but the thing is prodigy have such a huge pile of classics that they can have like 4 alternative sets and still including the hits.
but what's more important then satisfying the crowd is having fun themselves. wasn't it all about partying and playing the tunes they vibe off from day one? you can always see the euphoria and the new energy whenever they drop something new into the set.. come on!!! do it more often. play rhythm of life... benny blanco... funky shit... piranha... the trick... full throttle.... pandemonium.. mindfields... whatever... people will go nuts.. everytime a big act performs here all i hear form the media is "well.. they were great but unfortunately there was no surprise in their performance". well.. fuck the classics. they should play android, we gonna rock and what evil lurks and they'd still rock the shit out. loved it when liam played the tweaked version of wind it up a few years back in england along with rhythm of life and jericho. that fucking rocked. play that shit all over the world man.. why the fuck not??
they're old and their performance has become a bit soft (compared to when keith used to go absolutely mental), but when they have liam's beats , a fresh set and a good dj behind the keys (the liam from i.e. 96) to back it up, they can go on for a long time
glad to hear the sound was good this time. i remember hearing them for the first few times... feeling the bass going through my bones and clothes (diesel power for example). now it sounds like a laptop.. insanely high pitched.. but i guess that's what the standars allow these days
they need to do more drugs

I guess Keith never joined Caspa on stage for a live performance of "War?"
haven't heard anyone mention it... shame, another wasted moment that could have been great i think

i think fans have the right to complain
with all the build up about new tunes and playing something completely different for WDF, it gives enough reason for those to be upset
i've been a fan since '93 and i barely complain about anything with them
but the same set list all the time is starting to make them look lazy
it's obvious that enough people are bothered about this
if they played B&E, since it was soundchecked, i doubt people would be as angry. to me it just seems like Prodge aren't about the performance anymore. even for them, playing the same set over and over must get tiring. if it's tiring for the fans, then it's gotta be even more tiring for the band. it comes down to what and who are they playing for these days? how can you get into it each show when you're playing the same song for the 1,000th. it's starting to feel like an act. and this is coming from a longtime dedicated fan. when you keep doing the same thing again and again, it begins to lose impact and look like a joke. and even Maxim feels uninspired and just going through the motions. and if The Prodigy is about the hardcore real fans, why the generic greatest hits set list? Is it about the fans or about the money now?
people act like those complaining just wanna be that way... but far from it, it's so disappointing as a fan to feel this way. and i hope Prodigy can reignite that spontaneous magic again. hell, it wouldn't even be as bad if they simply swapped the song order around at least. i just wanna feel surprised again and how every set list used to feel special and unique. if they could do that, i wouldn't even care about hearing new tracks.
like people said, for the fans... every track is a hit. they have tons of classics and b-sides that hit hard. so use them. they talk about bringing their weapons to a show... well bring all your fucking weapons.
do i wanna sit here typing this and feel disappointed? absolutely not
i just want Liam and them realize that they're selling themselves short when it comes to their back catalog.
