Code: I have compiled the WipEout 2048 Soundtrack album for you guys. Not a direct game rip, gathered from various sources a bit all over the place, some from right here at FFShrine. MP3 files encoded at 192kbps, ordered and tagged plus I made a cover, label and .cue file. For now I think this is the best you can find anywhere. Enjoy!
this is a made CD. post was in april this year. from were the hell this guy get this longer version?  fake???

if you notice, most tracks are 5-6 minutes long...
which i think is so they would last as long as it takes to finish a race. so i imagine IMD would have to be extended since it's literally just only 3 minutes and would end early before the race was even over.

Truth. Only question is whether it is official extended version made with prermission, or fake fanmade one.

Origins of the title Wipeout
Quote: Both sides recognised the central role music would need to play in the game. For Sony, it was a way to show off the advantages of their CD based hardware, which allowed Playstation to move away from the tinny chiptunes of its predecessors. For Psygnosis, electronic music was the most natural fit for Wipeout’s hypertechnological ethos. In a later interview, its lead designer explained the origin of the title:
"We joked about getting The Prodigy doing an up-to-date remix of the Beach Boys’ classic surf ditty – Wipeout. We simply pictured Liam Howlett being right in your face screaming ‘Heheheheheheee, wipe oooout!’ and then it kicking off at 140bpm with some awesome hardcore.
