I have to say I don't like the idea of the too movies being in the same universe at all - it spoils both of them.

Standard 2D bluray is one disc with movie, deleted scenes, audio comentarys and some more stuff.
Collectors edition have 3 disc. Same bluray disc as above, 3D blu ray disc with 3d film, and special feature disc with 4-5 hours of extra materials including almost 4 hours making of documentary. (US release also have fourth disc which is DVD)
Steelbook have 3 bluray discs same as collectors edition but packed in this cool luxary box.

Quote: “That was me having fun and being cutesy,” said a laughing Charles de Lauzirika when asked about the connection. “I wrote all that stuff. I actually said this at the press conference they had in London, which is that if it’s in the film, it’s canon. I would argue that the viral pieces that are included in the Peter Weyland Files are canon just because they originated with Ridley and Damon Lindelof. I would say those, to some degree, are canon. But anything else – especially these which are kind of like little cute, embedded text graphics on the menus – I wouldn’t take those too seriously. It’s just meant to be an in-universe framework for those viral pieces.”
“As a Blade Runner fan, and because there’s been so much talk before this even occurred with people on the Internet speculating that maybe Alien and Blade Runner and Prometheus could all exist in the same universe, it was just more of a wink at that. Absolutely nothing to be taken seriously. I mean, I sent it to Ridley and he had no comment. (Laughs) So, it’s just icing on top of icing. It’s not the cake. It’s a fun, little side thing that’s very superficial. And, by the way, it in no way officially establishes that it’s Blade Runner because, if a lawyer were to comb through that, there’s no reference to Tyrell or anything in Blade Runner. It’s just a very lightly intentioned joke.”

Well, I'm fine with that. The Theatrical Cut is a masterpiece as it is. To truly appreciate it though you need to see it at least twice. The only little bit that doesn't work for me is the way that the last shot of the movie cuts to the mellow classical music. It totally breaks the mood and just does not fit. The music that follows the last shot should be the dramatic score that comes after the classical one. That would end the movie on a fitting high as the end of Prometheus is a setup for the sequel(s) rather than an end of a story.

Ridley Scott on Prometheus Sequel
12 October 2012
What direction is Ridley Scott looking take the Prometheus sequel? Be warned: there are spoilers for Prometheus here...
With Prometheus now safely out on DVD and Blu-ray, and inciting all manner of arguments once more, director Ridley Scott has done one or two promotional interviews to support the releae.
One of those was with the Metro, and it briefly asked him as to the direction of the planned Prometheus sequel.
“Prometheus evolved into a whole other universe”, Scott said. "You’ve got a person with a head in a bag that functions and has an IQ of 350. It can explain to her how to put the head back on the body and she’s gonna think about that long and hard because, once the head is back on his body, he’s dangerous”.
So that’s the sequel, Metro asked? "I wish it was that easy”, Scott replied. “They’re going off to paradise but it could be the most savage, horrible place. Who are the Engineers?"
Who are the Engineers indeed. Scott is currently working on his film of Cormac McCarthy’s The Counselor, starring Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender. Whether Prometheus 2 or the mooted Blade Runner follow-up turns out to be his next film remains to be seen…

Found Steelbox version elsewhere so it's not play exclusive only. Soon will grab it.
