Yo people ,XL Recordings are celebrating 15 years since the release of our Fat Of The Land album by re-releasing it and to make it special and give it weight we got behind it and got some killer new remixes done so it'll come with an 'added fat' extra cd also. These mixes include Noisia on 'Smack My Bitch Up',Zeds Dead on 'Breathe' and Alvin Risk on 'Firestarter' amongst others.
It'll all be available for download plus theres a 4 track vinyl too. Dec 3 release date in Uk,Dec 4 in USA and out pretty much everywhere else around then also. We'll stick up the full tracklisting and some links down the line. The djs will be out there playin these so listen up! , as for now , im back in the studio , boom!

Still looking forward to that 8-)

I assume there will be also the Jonny L Remix of SMACK and the Mulder Remix of FUNKY SHIT or BREATHE Beta etc. .... but I really looking forward and would appreciate to get tracks we never heared or we know, that never have been released before i.e. from BGAT-Era [Trigger, Nuclear, etc.]

That would be amazing .... also a remaster, but I dunno if this is necessary ??? An 5.1 Upmix would be a cool idea for some tracks ...

BUT isn´t there a conflict between XL and Liam´s TMTTH - label now ???

I mean is XL allowed to re-release those tunes under XL Label - especially old never released material ?

BTW: Still like the Noisia SMACK Remix, but only some parts of it

Concerning Cover, it would be funny to get that alternative old cover, that was supposed to be the final cover of the album in 1996 ...

AWFUL.
this whole skrillextro filthy housedubstep shit and all that bollocks is so awful.
no soul, no heart. just goin for the "sickest bass", the "filthiest breakdown".
again, awful.
you should try to listen this skrillextro loud. very loud ;)

and you all have to remember that liam is not into xl anymore so talking about unreleased or reworked track from him is kinda naive.

Trigger and Nuclear doesn't belong to this era, so forget about them

This would be the excellent time to release the full brixton show on a bonus dvd. Or maybe the red square show. Or any other show from that era that was filmed. The music videos remastered would be excellent too.

Molotov Bitch, The Trick and No Man Army / One Man Army are probably a sure bet that's gonna be on there!

Don't know about any other completed and unreleased tracks from that era :?:

even if we didn't get some unreleased or Liam reworked stuff...

i still wished tracks like Molotov Bitch, The Trick, No/One Man Army, and even Ghost Town got their due by being included with it. fill that 2nd cd up!

i'm all for rarities, but at least gives us those remastered too

xl own the rights to the album and any materail around that time even reworks or new remixes same as experience and MTFJG so anytime it gets a re release it will be on xl's label

That could be great. It will be at least interesting....or pure crap.
sadly I'm guessing the latter since a year agoor so Switch left Major Lazer and Diplo started releasing pure turd under MJ name, but since they're doing liveshows maybe they both feature on it. would be cool if they'd add a savage jamaican vocalist on it and lazer the shit out of smack my bitch up.
