I sent an email to XL:
Quote: I'd like to inform Liam Howlett and your label executives that you're going in the wrong direction concerning the "Fat of the Land - Added Fat" 15 years Anniversary release. This is the direction you should be going: http://www.brainkiller.it/public/forum/ ... 364#193364Thank you.
Maybe you should too.
edit: e-mail failed, anyone has their working email address?

probably already mentioned - but where's Molotov Bitch and No Man Army (at the very least)? They were on the original Japanese CD of FOTL, why wouldn't they be on FOTL "expanded"?
Wish there were a few live tracks as well - original SMBU from Pinkpop '96, or some big live tracks they're sitting on perfect recordings of.

I really think it would be worth-while if we all (everyone who gives a fuck) send emails to XL saying the following tracks should be included:
Molotov Bitch
No Man Army
Ghost Town
The Trick
This would make the release on par with Experience Expanded and More Music For The Jilted Generation. Otherwise this to me is DUMB SHIT. What a WASTE it would be!
Let's not be far fetched and add ridiculous requests like Trigger and Nuclear. Keep it sensible

I tried to find any working contact details of XL Recordings and came across to section when you can send a story/biography of this label.
So, I sent them the following message:
Sorry guys for sending this via bio section but there is no other way to reach you. Totally disappointed with tracklist of (about to be) re-issued Fat Of The Land album by The Prodigy. Such an influential/breakthrough LP deserves far better treatment than bonus disc with silly remixes. Check what Rage Against The Machine are doing with re-issue of their debut album and learn from them.
This is their email: biog@xlrecordings.com

Extra tracks should be
Disc 1
11. Molotov bitch
12. The trick
13. One man army
14. Diesel power (liam's dirtchamber mix)
15. Ghost town
16. No souvernirs (not going to happen, but should be!)
17. Titan (instrumental)
Disc 2
01. Smack my bitch up [dj hype remix]
02. Firestarter [empirion mix]
03. Mindfields [headrock dub]
04. Smack my bitch up [slacker mix]
05. Mindfields [monkey mafia remix]
06. Smack my bitch up [jonny l remix]
07. Funky shit [mulder exclusive mix]
08. Diesel power [quarashi remix]
09. Firestarter (live radio 1 2005)
10. No man army (instrumental)
+ the new remixes that is announced.
Trigger, Nuclear, Pre-BGAT, Goblin ain't gonna be released ever. It's AONO-era, and there will never be a anniversary-release of that album, because it was a flop, even though it's a good album, if you pretend it's somebody else than The Prodigy

Probably way too late but here's my 2Cents:
FAO XL Recordings: This was the album that put you on the map and to not do something extremely special with the anniversary re-release is just plain criminal (and dumb)

It's too late to be sending emails to XL, things have been set in motion for quite some time now - the cd is set in stone by now, they will release it as is.
I wish people would have known about this about 6-9 months ago so that they could send emails with suggestions then.
Truly a poor anniversary release.

It wouldn't have mattered anyway. Liam doesn't give a rats ass about what the fans would like, he's too stingy. Would love if he was more like Deadmau5.
Well, I personally really don't give much about this release anyway, because I own all the tracks on the singles and compilations, that should have been on the release.

it's all good...
you're just giving XL some ideas for the 20 year anniversary release when they want you to triple dip on the same album...

Nah .... think about "Mescaline" .... IMO this was released cos the fans asked for it ... would be cool, if this will be repeated again
