In my opinion Poison Part II deserves to be a track on the new album. Should be called Jetfighter, Nitehawk, Ant Bomb or Ant Air Attack or something ;) :P

ok, thanks.
at least i see what you guys mean now. still.. jetfighter case, it can be random distorted eaoueua from all i can hear. and poison fill is too far fetched.

Nothing random in both prodigy tracks. They are 100% SOAD samples, just speeded up and mixed with other Liam's stuff and samles.

do guys believe this album will fuck the scene up once again?

this happened with first three albums, how hard is it to steal all the audience from Skrillex, Nero and Avicii right? To be honest, i think they have never been against such wide scene.

most of you surely don't think much about nowdways youngsters and theyr taste, but for example, both times MFTJG and FOTL was released, there wasn't really scene what would fight back so to speak..

fact what speaks for Prodigy is that most of artists out there are pretty much copy and paste of each other..

what ya think?

i don't want to live in a world where skrillex is the definition of electronic dance music.

I'm unhappy to live in a world where Skrillex defines dubstep music. I like some of his stuff. I think that the real fault lies at all the Skrillex dumb clones, who make something even worse than brostep now - this unlistenable house/brostep/glitchy shit thing. Well, that's just the way of things, when a genre appears, idiots usually come and transform it into something stupid for the masses. I don't think the masses are going to appreciate The Prodigy on a large scale again, back in TFOTL days it was better music all around there in the media, nowadays music in the media is either electro pop or house pop (or both), where do you see The Prodigy competing with that crap?

But deep under all the crap, is the more underground scene (people that listen to old electronic shit, dnb or the "proper" dubstep which is about bass, not wobbles), and nowadays this is the true target of our beloved music. The question is, will the scene be impressed by the new album, or they'll just be like, "decent but not mindblowing". Unless The Prodigy invent something totally new and raw, and happen to make a breakthrough worth of a band that gave us Jilted and Fat, I doubt it. I have some hopes for Jetfighter's style, there was never really any The Prodigy track which was so heavily based on a metal (not rock) sample, and Jetfighter (even if it's just a 2 minute snip) is really powerful, both from metal and electronic side. The closest that we had, up to this point, was Spitfire, Mescaline (although the latter just had a powerful guitar thanks to the beat that backs it up) and maybe Badass fill (aka Poison chapter 2). Now go and find me a single Prodigy fan that's dissatisfied by one of these tracks :) It might work, I hope Liam makes a few tracks in that style.

I'm glad Liam thinks dubstep has had it's day.

Just please know that trapstep is just as bad.

Or any other fucking step that has been invented in the last 24 hours.
