comparing it to hardcore and euro dance? really? if you think this is eurodance, how can you ever like Poison for example?
yeah, that... about that witch-fire thing, I am all about everyone having their own different opinions and expressing them aloud, but I can't help but feel a bit alienated sometimes here, between all the guys who just don't like the new stuff. One thing is to say "ok, this is not my fav genre", another to say "omg what a laugh of a genre, who da fuck invents that shit, it's worse than dubstep, eurotrance and scooter put in one sentence with folk music". Come on, some people actually like the new stuff, at one point I just stopped posting because I thought "ah fuck it, whatever honest I write, I'll just ridicule myself, haters will tell me my music taste sucks" Maybe I am just too fuckin sensitive about what people think of my opinions. Whatever...

this can't be the artwork??? I liked the MMFTJG artwork and EE was cool too, but this? this is like a cartoon.
about the trapstep thing: I'm really into Hudson Mohawke, Lunice, TNGHT and some other TRAPSTEP artists. to be honest I never knew it was called trapstep and honestly didn't care what it was called, but it has always been something greater then dubstep. when back in the day people said dubstep, it meant something good like jazzsteppa for instance, but now dubstep relates only to the utter crap played on the radios (skrillex, brostep or whatever and that housey crap). I understand where the hate for that genre comes from and I hate it as well, at least the form it has become today. I'm not into genres and all that... if I like an artist, I never care about the genre. but my point being all the music developed from the early fresh and original dubstep into something different and more underground than the commercial shit is rather good and I'm into it. so I'm with Elsewhere on that. BUT I understand the diss bout trapstep in this thread - those remixes posted here are probably made by some teenage lil wayne wannabes and can't be judged. they're just crap. that is all
the real thing to worry about is Liam liking Skrillex, Caspa and Zeds Dead. although I may be wrong about Zeds Dead, only heard the Breathe remix live, but I think that says it all

Well, about the artwork hate - it's not that bad imo and I don't see a problem. And besides - what did you expect, knowing it'll be more or like something like that? MFTJG and MMFTJG artwork differrence was very subtle (well, same for Experience reedition, even if it's not going to be as good example as Jilted), so we already should have known the next one is going to be a slight variation on the iconic crab cover.
And you're not wrong about the Zeds Dead thing, although it's not necessarily Liam who likes them. Remember the WDF interview, the "what do you listen to in your car" question? Maxim said something like, "old hip-hop beats, etc, etc., but also some newer stuff, like Zeds Dead"
Onun: already got answered before

yeah I remember the interview, my bad. but still, since it was selected for 'Added Fat', they must all approve, which basically means Liam.
and bout the artwork... the original focuses on the the crab with the background sort of stretching around it. the new one however seems more like a quickie and lost that effect... and as we learned, it's just copied from a poster. I don't know, maybe it needs some getting used to. the crabs are sort of like a crowd maybe? I think the alternative FOTL artwork would've been the best one (with FOTL stamped on a pile of fat)
and respect to noisia for the effort! really diggin this rework
