That alvin risk remix, what the hell? I don't have anything against these skrillex influenced kinda dubstep tunes but this is some serious crap right here. I don't even consider this as a remix after listening to the preview. I hope at least the other parts of the song have something to do with the original track.

Zed's Dead remix is fine, epic build up! Noisia remix is already a dancefloor filler at the moment in Belgium. Starting to get bored of it already, haha! Baauer or Major Lazer remixes aren't bad. It's just that i'm not getting into this trap-thing..

I think i'll buy the new album even though I'm still dissapointed about the lack of other material they put on it.

Firestarter (Alvin Risk Remix) - sounds like a BAD fan-remix ... like remember those programs like "Mixman" from the late 90's? Where you'd get a few shitty samples and just kinda... put them together? that's how this sounds. Like there was a completed song, and he just threw segments of the original on top

Breathe (Zeds Dead Remix) - is OK... but just OK. I could imagine it working really well in a breaks-set around 2006/2007 ...maybe this is a sign that "Breaks" is coming back?

Mindfields (Baauer Remix) - it's not too bad. I like the swagger of the intro... although the part where the original percussion comes in sounds a bit cluttered

Breathe (The Glitch Mob Remix) - is it just me... or does this basically just sound like an average Digitalism song?



Smack My Bitch Up (Noisia Remix) - really seems to be the only really GREAT mix... it's the only one where enough new elements come in, while still keeping a decent reference to the original. The Diplo/Major Lazer remix doesn't really feel like a "remix" to me... just like a "re-production" (sort of like Unkle's version of QOTSA's "Burn the Witch")
