yeah I dont get it.
If you look @ youtube you ALWAYS see the same old shit being uploaded, but no one ever uploads new stuff................... it was the same thing with AWOL and jetfighter that took a few days before surfacing.
anyway, looking forward to bokorugro's footage.

Well, the only guys that could upload stuff quickly are the UK residents, and the only guys that know which tracks are valuable to upload are from Brainkiller. Now, everyone who's from UK and attended the 1st day, give a convincing reason why you didn't upload The Day :D
(let's just be patient... hopefully our heroes are going to edit and upload the whole gig in a week or so)

Indeed, The Day dugdale video would be EPIC.
But it will prolly be a "casual" track after all if anything.

Okay, now im home in Denmark again and have had some time to reflect over the show(s).
Originally i had tickets for tuesday and wednesday, but after seing the show tuesday me and my English friend decided to sell the wednesday ticket and go out and eat instead.
The show tuesday was okay, but the fact that they hardly changed anything in the set, and with Voodoo as an opener (what the fuk was that about) in stead of a new massive bomb like WOF in 08, and only brought hyperspeed as a really surprise kinda did it for us - everything seems so programmed with The Prodigy now, and to be honest they seems like they lost their edge - Compared to earlier shows ive seen in Brixton with them, this was by far the worst, no edge, no excitement in their eyes, and no direction that points out where the band are going........Keith was the only one really up to it tuesday, Maxim said/sang the same things that you could hear on the last 4 years live recordings, and Liams attitude looks like hes a little bored and totally lost inspiration.
So to sum up, i really still like The Prodigys music and will still follow them here on the website - But they need to chance a whole lot of things before i deside to travel to see them again, something i have done many times over the last 16 years - So many song to pick from to a show where 80% of the audience is fans, and they play the same shit again again and again, thats really poor - Im sure Funky Shit, Girls, Wake Up, Mindfields, Full Throttle, Break and Enter, Piranha just to name a few would have made Brixton to a armageddon

So the Brixton shows are over and, at least for the Czech crew, these were unforgettable days. A lot of crazy things has happened but one after another.
The 1st gig on Tuesday started for us a few hours before opening of the venue. Our tickets were still waiting for us at the box office so we went to the Brixton quite early. We also knew a few people here has tried to set a meeting in one of the pubs around the venue so we tried to look in one of these but without any luck. We then went back to the Brixton Academy to wait in line with other fans for the opening time. Was quite surprised that like an hour and half before the opening, there was just a few people waiting but that quickly changed as were getting closer to the start of the show. Once the gate opened we went straight to the hall to get to the first row. The upcoming hours were quite painful, as we were not really impressed by the supporting acts, not at all, but as soon as The Prodigy kicked in that changed really fast. The first gig was simply awesome. My expectations about the setlist were not high so I'm really happy about the result. I've almost didn't recognized that they've started with a new intro, to me it sounded way to similar to the last one, but that's just me I guess. Anyway once they've dropped Voodoo People as their first track in the setlist and not WoF as usual I knew this is gonna be an awesome night:) You guys know the whole setlist for the shows, so just in short some of my thoughts:
The new track was great. Great beats, don't know what to think about the female vocal part but I really liked the track as a whole though.
I was absolutely blown away by the new fill right before Breathe. On Tuesday they've played it like for a minute of something
, it was quite a simple but with really powerful sounding and dark and heavy atmosphere. I had goosebumps all over my body when Liam dropped it, really great. They didn't play it on Saturday though and on Thursday just for a few seconds. Liam also indeed dropped part of Osaka fill right before the new "Eagle Break" fill which led to World's on Fire track. Can't remember if that Osaka fill bit was played on Tuesday but on Wednesday and Thursday definitely was. And of course, Hyperspeed, I was dancing like mad when they've dropped it on the first show. Kind of hoped, they would play different oldskool track each night but that didn't happen, but what the hell, that's The Prodigy we're talking here about, so better than nothing
So these were the shows, but the best part was still to come for us. After the second show on Wednesday, we went out of the venue and waited for the band in front of the "production door" with some other fans. It was freezing cold and raining as fuck but after a while Rob appeared, took some pics with people and went back indoor. Also Dugdale has shown up. After an hour Liam finally came out, Lukuc and Gengy, my Czech fellas, took a pic with him and got their tickets signed by him. Maxim took the opportunity and went out quietly by different door a while after Liam. But that was just a Wednesday
On Thursday, after the last show, we went back again to wait for the band, as most people of our little Czech Brixton crew still had no pics with the band, so we tried again our luck. And we succeeded, even more than expected because of one nice surprise. But it started with Leo who went out to smoke, he was really nice and patient We took some pics with him and after while he also went back in. Then Rob appeared but he went straight to the car if I remember right. Before Maxim and Liam showed up, it took a several hours, because the guys had a little afterparty somewhere at the backstage rooms. Before they went out, some other interesting people showed up, like Mr. Cambell, Prodigy's sound engineer, but we didn't talked with him, for some reason. On the other hand we talked a while with Neil McLellan, The Prodigy's producer, he was really great and you could tell from his words how much he admires The Prodigy and their work. At that time there was just a few people still waiting for the band, just all seven of us, of our Czech Brixton crew and one British fella, oldskool raver, but shamefully I've forgot his name. It was around 6 am when Liam and Maxim finally showed, guys were just great, maybe a little exhausted but yet very patient, so we took a chance and took some pics with them, also Leeroy was there, but we've missed him, as hew went out together with Maxim but went different way, but the British colleague has got pic with him, I think. Yet the biggest surprise was something different, a minutes before Liam showed up, this older little girl came out. She looked really familiar to us. We were almost sure who she is, but didn't find a courage to ask her. But suddenly she turned back to us (thank you God ) and asked us if we got a light. We did, and when one of us lighted up her cigarette I had to ask her: "I'm sorry, but aren't you Sharky?", "If I'm Sharky?" she replied with big smile on her face, "Yes, I am". So yeah, there she was, we obviously asked her for a photo, she also signed our tickets. She was super nice, smiling all the time, kind of delighted we've recognized her Later I've asked her if she's touring with the band but she said that no, that it's just special occasion to see her friends. So we were really lucky to met her I guess. After a few minutes, Liam, Maxim, Sharky and most of the staff has left the scene, back to their homes. It ended for us with one of the main Prodigy staff guys who gave us some posters and T-shirts for free for our patience, wished us Merry Christmas and left the scene as well. We thank him for everything and went back to the hotel.
You can tell, these moments were one of the most important for us as Prodigy fans, just unforgettable. Yeah, these were the days
P.S. Lukuc has a full video recording of the second show on Wednesday from second row. The sound is bad, but if bokorugro has got sound also for this show, I think it's gonna be some great recording. Lukuc doesn't have a recording of the first show though as he forgot the GoPro in the hostel and had some technical problems at the third show on Thursday.
P.S.S. Almost forgot the guy who's looking after Liam's laptops and stuff before the show, he talked with us a while too and gave us tracklist paper of the third show, so big ups to him to
P.S.S. Sorry for my English, I've tried my best

Adamicz lovely review, reminds me of looking at Nekos (wheres she by the way, really miss her reviews and adventures) reviews back in the days, getting to know the adventures besides the show.
As Soren said, i truly love this band and it just disappoints me seeing them go downhill with the setlist issue. I use to collect audio bottlegs during the years, but since 2008 i actually dont give a shit any more, no excitement, its all too predictable.

totally agree with you Soren.
i remember when i last saw them (this year at helsinki) i predicted the whole show and for the first time thought this could be so much better. no wonder liam seems bored... they play the SAME SHIT ALL THE TIME. doesn't liam like anything else he's done? is he so paranoid to change anything? don't keef or maxim have a say in the making of setlists? what the hell is happening... to be honest it is a huge surprise for me that they played 3 nights in a row with almost identical setlists... and at brixton! which should be the safest turf for them to test and play anything they like. 'the day' sounded really interesting and rockin. why did he drop it? how can you not moan about this?

of course they look bored, i can't imagine playing the same songs over and over with many songs remaining in the sets for well over a decade. if they actually switched up and refreshed their set here and there, i think it would help get them back on their game, feel more inspired, and bring some edge back to the live show. but it's literally like their performance has become a scripted movie that keeps getting rewound and played over and over again. Maxim goes through the same motions and says the same things each time. there's no freestyle, just feels programmed...
as they say "You just run on automation" and that is what the band feels like right now. i love this group and don't understand why they are so afraid to change it up a bit.
three nights in the SAME place with practically the SAME set list each night... for a set a shows aimed at the HARDCORE fans that they have... seriously?
just feels like that they don't care anymore and just there to collect a check.
maybe this set was powerful at first in 2008/2009, but not after being repeated again and again, it loses its edge... the band look like they lost the buzz.
it's worrisome, especially with the hopes of a new album anytime soon.
i mean do they even wanna do it anymore? and if so, why? i just don't seem that same buzz to wanna tear shit up and fuck up the scene.
all the interviews are the same... it just all feels scripted now.

UN wrote: reminds me of looking at Nekos (wheres she by the way, really miss her reviews and adventures) reviews back in the days, getting to know the adventures besides the show.
I'm wondering if Neko not being around is exactly why the setlist hardly changes. Neko was the one that got Out of Space back and now that song has been relatively normal since 2005. She effectively connected the desires of the fans to the band. All other interviewers ask the same freaking questions such as "where did you come up with the name Invaders Must Die?"
I don't think the problem is that the band does not listen to the fans on forums, I think the problem is that they're not even reading forum and Facebook posts. I also have yet to hear of a time when a fan met with the band and talked about the setlist besides Neko. I'm not pointing fingers because why would anyone want to possibly ruin the moment?
So, could it be that, because Neko hasn't been around, The Prodigy legitimately THINKS that they are serving the majority of fans because this information about the setlist is not being given to them? After all, the band said in an interview not too long ago that people only want to hear the songs they know. I believe the majority of fans came during the Fat of the Land and Invaders Must Die eras (like it or not) and thus it makes sense that those are the songs most played. Another thing to recall is that The Fat of the Land and Invaders Must Die albums were built for live shows. Songs would have to be removed for other songs to be played due to time constraints, but without considering how many times each song has been played live in the past, can anyone honestly say that it is EASY to know which songs to remove? We do not complain because of what is on the setlist; we complain about how many times that setlist has been played.
