Even if they just took the same set list and swapped tracks all around would be better than the same order as always. People wanna be surprised at a live show.
That moment when the first couple of notes of a song starts and you're like "oh shit, it's happening right!" That rush of adrenaline and tingling down your spine when are surprised by those first notes. That's what gives the show the rush.
But when you know... "Here comes Breathe next... oh, here comes Run With The Wolves... wait, here comes Out Of Space..." etc, etc... it ruins that feeling.
I wouldn't mind getting the same set of songs... but come on, just switch em up.
Open with Invaders Must Die and close with Firestarter one night...
Open with Smack My Bitch Up and close with Take Me To The Hospital another...
I couldn't believe that they opened with Voodoo People and expected that just maybe we were gonna get different sets. But then the rest of the line up is the same... just ruins it sadly.
I saw them in '09 when the set was kinda still fresh... but from reading the forums I knew what to expect here and there...
but then out of nowhere we got original Thunder... best fucking moment of the show. i was like "oh fuck, they're seriously gonna drop this right now!" and we got "Comanche" later on... those are the moments that make a show.
not knowing what's next...
fuck it, go wild Liam and open with Firestarter for a change and really set the place a blaze.

Very very true, but surely it's just as difficult to get oneself to mess with a working order. To get World's On Fire to work, they cut it in half to put it in the middle of their set and now it's so gutted that it should just be removed. Voodoo People also does not work as an opener. The band just seems sloppy when the order is messed with. I guess live only songs and random tracks off of their old albums were played in the early nineties because that's all they had. As I posted before, they now have 86 tracks (not including live only, unreleased or not yet released, or remix tracks) to choose from with only an hour to an hour and a half to play (a length of time that has remained relatively unchanged throughout their entire career).

Now, everyone who's from UK and attended the 1st day, give a convincing reason why you didn't upload The Day :D
(let's just be patient... hopefully our heroes are going to edit and upload the whole gig in a week or so) be patient...lots of filmers at the gig (two from bk that i know of) and we will have something soon but it does take time if you want a quality product...i am thinking five years
Yeah, I'm patient, I just thought that a week makes more sense than few hours (some guys expected to have The Day on Youtube a day after the gig...), and I forgot that you're going to make an edit from multiple video sources. In this case I give you even a few months if you wish so It's your free time after all. Thanks for recording to all the guys, much appreciated.

Two seconds of Gun Reprise and sounds like a mistake during the gig
When we will get audio from 3 Brixton gigs? Want to hear full The Day, Awol (Edit) and all of the new fill's.

Even if the majority did came after tfotl and imd, its ridiculous to think they didnt get the other albums and liked them....
Also, watching the hyper above, cant say i blame duggers for filming random shit during the performance coz nobody wants to see keef and maxim strolling up and down the stage....

Lovely review! This guy is so nice indeed! I sat next to him in the plane when I went to the Norway gig.
