The title of the new album is very good for me but they announced it too early i think...

My thoughts about the tracks:

Jetfighter - It's heavy but unmelodic, messy and sounds like a demo of the demo. I heard it live twice and I don't like it. If this is the title / main track from the new album... Then it should be changed a lot. Hope it will evolve for example like Beat 55 to Omen.

Dogbite - It's nice but this track is too short. At the beginning I did not like it because of the wobbles - does not fit to the vocals. Wobble sample disappeared, some new sounds added - it's better now but still needs some work. Overall this track should be released as an bside, bonus or on anniversary release etc. Dogbite does not fit the description of the new era.

Awol - In my opinion the best track from the new stuff. Nice dark and punky track. This track is like the mix of three/four tracks - Fuel My Fire, Nuclear, Warning and even Run With The Wolves. Second version is better of course and fits the description of the new era but first version fits also but in 80%. I don't like edit version from Brixton gigs because i thinks it's too short. Sounds almost finished but needs some changes, some final things. Maybe finally Liam will merge both versions into a one single track. Overall i think that Awol should be released on the new album or as an bside. If somehow they want to release both versions then as an isolated single i think but maybe this is bad idea. Maybe Liam will use second version to make another new track or something... There is a lot of potential in this second version.

I think the tracks all have a similar tone to each other which is good.. it means Liam has a vision in mind for this album. Like WOF, Omen and TMTTH had similar tones.

as far as the tracks go, they definitely fit well on the set. AWOL, Dogbite, Jetfighter along tracks like Poison prt 2, Spitfast, firestarter RWTW sound great.

AWOL Sounds like something pre-AONO but actually works and doesn't sound garbage like Trigger and Nuclear. I like the synth melody the drum beat and the vocal is pretty powerful though it would be good to find out what the female vocal is. Like others have said I think the second version is better and should have the breakdown of the first version added.

Dogbite is cool but needs more to it. like neorev said it would be cool if the wobbles were there as well as the new sounds, just to give it variety. i like the vocals maxim and keef share, sounds like a beatie boys jam. i like the samples used in this especially the psychotic laughing at the beginning and breakdown.

Jetfighter is obviously the real gem and what appears to be the title track of the album. i fucking LOVE the drum beat in this one, sounds like something you'd hear at an underground fight club. the vocal in this one is odd.. the lyrics are just... wat. needs more work. i Like the synth sounds in the second vocal part and the stuff that plays during the beat.

i think the similar tone i'm getting between the tracks is the use of guitars and darker synths and sounds. anyway i'm expecting a surprise switch up in the tunes like liam did with the early version of IMD (beat 55 omen, unstoppable mescaline, warriors dance)

Totally agree with you about AWOL and Dogbite. I like Jetfighter too but the part I hate in it is the SOD sample it just have to disappear everything else is fine i think...

SOD sample is what makes it in my opinion

I don't think the Prodigy would leave the SOAD vocal sample so obvious like it is now, in a released version. It almost sounds like a collab.

Some will disagree with me but these 3 songs are mediocre.I liked AONO and IMD.It's nice to know that the band i love since i was a little boy will release a new album but i haven't heard yet a song to make me feel excited.Maybe their studio version will be different.Still, the fact is that these 3 songs are worse than those of the IMD and AONO albums. You must be deff not to realize that.

Btw Jetfighter a gem? Don't use the word ''gem'' so easy.
I'm happy too we have new material but...relax bro.
Except if Master L surprises us and brings us a different amazing studio version.

I felt the same way when I heard Warrior's Dance for the first time - I was only excited about it because it was something that the band put out after a long time. But when I heard TMTTH I knew the album was something to look forward too (the first recordings of it were shit but I knew I needed to be patient). Let's wait for Liam to polish them up (there's not much that we can do anyway). The tracks are what they are and I can't and won't judge them yet.

I agree KurtHectic from these 3 tracks it is the ''less bad''.

you have a point.Maybe it is because the recordings are not good, especially about Jetfighter but still W.D. sounded a far better song even when i first heard it.

Anyway time will tell and i'm the 1st one who wants a good album.

that track with sample from death of yugoslavia is the most promising so far. like awol a lot, works good live, dogbite and jetfighter need more work. hope liam will make bangin tracks from spitfast and poison part 2.

None of these tracks are exciting. AWOL sounds best to me, but Jetfighter is terrible, both in sonic and creative respect. Dogbite sounds rreeeaaallllyyy early, like a pre-demo state to me. All this stuff could be good some day, but it all needs lots of work and polish. Let's hope 'Master' H gets his shit together.
If he would just get back on the sampler.

That soon!?

They still have to finish it, and then theres time for u know..

"big important record label stuff that happens that you dont even know about'' Liam Howlett

jokes aside, you would think it should be fucking done this year.. the longer you work on something doesnt mean the product turns out better, WOF is a prime example.. and you could argue the same with AONO album version 1 aswell.

STOP OVER-THINKING SHIT MR HHHHH, give us a raw 'dark' heavy album that isn't completely contrived

Just really hope album name is changed to something less obvious, the whole military thing was cool when they started using it around bgat but its getting a bit tired now.

+1 how about actual street level crimes, rioting, something a bit more accessible, speak to the street culture you claim you came from liam
