I don't care about when the album comes out, if we just had some stuff while waiting, like demos, not used stuff and so on..

After David Bowies suprise new material I kind of miss the days when I knew fuck all about when Prodigy's new material was gonna be released, made it more exciting when it was announced.

As i said before they announced the title of the new album too early i think... Plus bullshit news from early 2012 like: isolated single in the third quarter of 2012, new album at the end of 2012... After the release of the Invaders Must Die album they said that we will not have to wait so long for the next album - maximum up to two years... lies as usual Fortunately, in this year some interesting stuff will be released like new Depeche Mode album, new Autechre album and perhaps new Royksopp album.

You know it's bad when it's the beginning of 2013 and we already doubt it'll come out this year.

lol it won't come out this year who are they trying to kid. Too much BS has been spoken, isolated single - never happened, album 2012 - never happened - new tracks to play at download - oh wait a minute, never happened.
i'd be happy if they actually kept to their word for once. live setlist is boring, i've seen them 4 times since 2009 and hardly any variation tbh. for the first time i'm actually doubting them. they said there wouldn't be the gap like there was between FOTL + AONO (7 years) or AONO + IMD (4 years 3 months) - it's 4 years next month that IMD came out and what do we have - from the looks of it not a lot, I just think they are getting lazy.
hope they sort it out lol

I think all the original AONO tracks sound better than most of the new shite theyve been playing live.
Maybe its time to to can the stuff written so far and work without Keith and maxim again

AONO is a very good album (except maybe for 2 tracks, personal taste anyway) - it's way more creative than IMD.

AONO is 50/50 for me... Half solid tracks vs half filler
I think Liam should have delayed the release a little longer and test the tracks live because the newer mixes and edits were much better than the album versions
For example Spitfire '05, and the Their Law versions of Under My Wheels and Way It Is
And we would have gotten Warning... And Back To School should have been on the album. The live version of Wake Up Call with Maxim's vox. I even like Razor more than the filler half of AONO.
These changes would have made AONO a much more solid album
The Spitfire album version gets a bit dull after a while
You'll Be Under My Wheels is terrible on the album
Liam ruined Trigger when it became Shoot Down
Girls, Wake Up Call, and Get Up Get Off are my favorite tracks
Hotride and Action Radar are pretty good too and dug Medusa's Path
Memphis Bells is ehhh, ruined by those dreadful vocals that dont really suite the track
I didnt enjoy The Way It Is nor Phoenix at all
Liam should have given himself an extra 6 months with AONO and toured for a lil bit with the new material to see what needed tweaking.
Spitfire '05 Edit would have been a much more massive opener in its tweaked form.

Hi guys. it's been a long time since I've posted here.
I noticed that almost everyone here is more or less blasé.
I think, like many here, that the "new" tracks lack freshness and dynamism, and they look more like demo than anything else.
The album will come sooner or later, and it's now certain that Howlett saves his new cartridges pending the release of a single.
The album will be good ? Or bad ? We'll see. I think, as Warrior, that the new thematic is not exciting, and frankly, seems artificial.
But for me, the real problem is the lives. He's working on his album, ok. But the fuckin tracklists ?? Rather than give bones to gnaw to the fans, he should regularly renew the structure of lives, placing old titles, rework them, as he does occasionally, but more often, fuck !! That's his job ! The only real work on stage is the lights organization and mixing, let's be honest. Howlett does nothing behind his machines, and K+M yell at the mic and that's all (Ok, there is also Rob & Leo). This is pure LAZINESS.
Conclusion: Howlett, work intelligently on your album, and work your lives for people like us who expect more than Firestarter, SMBU and "Oh my Prodigy people".
If I'm as irritated, it's because I love them more than anything.
And sorry if my english is bad, I'm a fuckin French.
Cheers guys.

@Stuie: You mean that everything has already been said in this topic ?
I've not had the time to read everything, but I believe you.
Proof of the general discontent, I think...
Sorry if this is repetition, I just give my opinion.
Have a good evening everyone.

Ok.
I don't know if LH read forums, but if he wants to not only satisfy his many occasional listeners, he will have to make huge efforts. My passion for The Prodigy begins to fade... It's sometimes sad to see a band after 20 years of existence.
