"It's very exciting isn't it," says Numan, who's also been approached to collaborate on a project with Tricky."

I do remember some talk a long while back and nothing ever materialised.
Rob played with Gary so maybe something will happen in the future.

really liked Gary Numans last album so hope this collab sees light of day.
He requested spitfire when he was last on six music to promote his tour.

Like I mentioned, this is from the late 90's. There has been lots of talk about this collab and that collab, nothing really happens.
Won't hold my breathe.

'Invaders Must Die' came out on the 18th of February 2009. That means it has now been 4 years and 3 months (and counting) since it came out. It would be nice to at least have some sort of confirmation that the new album will be released in 2013.
In this day and age, the way the music industry is, it would probably be better if Liam just released tracks standalone as soon as he though it was completed without having to worry about completing an album. Having a track finished and then sitting on it for a year or two while he completes the rest of the album seems wrong. The public 'awareness' of The Prodigy subsides and then has to be rebuilt each time they go away and then come back again. Another problem is that Liam may consider a track to be 'relevant' when he completes it but then he changes his mind later on.
Throw us a bone please Liam!

Also, although released in 2009, wasn't IMD completed in November 2008? So it's been even longer!...
But no new album this year. We'll be lucky if it's even out by next year ...

Liam uses Russian social network vkontakte (equivalent to Facebook, but with great abilities to find new music - probably the reason why he uses this so much) quite a lot due to respect for the Russian fans and it works as a blog for him - now there was a hint to this future album title since he mentioned that he's top album cover is this
