Forthcoming on my new record. This video is a bit graphic. Put the kids to bed before putting this one on loud...

i might have actually enjoyed that had I not been witness to your Liam impersonation. You get in front of the mirror and get all your Liam moves perfected? lol...if those your beats, you got talent, but you look like a wannabe BAD. if get your own image, i'd have respect

wow, burn!
i dont go out of my way to imitate liam no, but when its essentially my main point of reference for all these years then i guess its going to manifest itself into my set.
everything you hear is me, everything you see is me. i dont stand in front of a mirror trying to be liam. infact i sort of get fedup with the comparisions at times. yes hes my inspiration, otherwise i wouldnt be on a prodigy forum.
i respect your opinion and appreciate feedback. but as i say, im certainly not trying to be liam v.2, but i can see your point.

get some other influences and you might produce something interesting. looks like a half decent tribute act at the moment.

didnt the MC mention the prodigy? the image doesnt match the sound, you would be far safer just DJ-ing this type of stuff unless you intend to add live guitar and drums.. in that case just grow your hair long to look different, just my 2 cents

Well, that first track and the video.. erm, lets just say thats not working for me and thats putting it mildly.
Agression Dub Jam is maybe 20 levels above that first track so stick with that and you may have a shot. Seriously, its a good track, its catchy and has a good bassline.

some interesting comments here.
as previously noted, the MC is infact from the Jilted Generation tribute band, i do alot of shows with them.
that being said, im fairly suprised by the negative comments regarding nightmares in a damaged brain. but its cool, if its not your thing then fair play. i personally am very excited by that track and had great fun making it.
the dj comment is a little bit off center. people criticize me for looking and sounding like liam, then he suggests that i add a guitarist and a drummer? hmm. oh and if you check out some of my old videos you will infact see that i have previously had long hair!
again though, not gunna get butthurt over the fact you all have an opinion. its totally cool with me. im happy with what im producing (this record im working on at the moment isnt all sounding like NIADB, infact some of it is DnB) and i will be posting it here when its finished too.
and taking this music live is something i love doing, and becoming a DJ is something that will never, ever happen. never been into it personally.

theres nothing wrong with the track style or what you are doing, its how its executed. TBH your sound could be dirtied up a bit more, it sounds like the synth preset without much extra production to give it that gelled/polished feel.
and come on, theres no electronic group that uses live drums guitar or bass? are you fucking kidding me, i can name 10 just off the top of my head not including the prodigy.
if you dont want to take in the feedback in a positive light then good luck appeasing to whoever likes it, thats no problem, if you want a larger fanbase then start listening.
believe me, people are being a lot nicer than what they are thinking in their heads, just be glad they are willing to give you any feedback.. the ones who arent dont care enough about what you are doing.

not entirely sure where your going with this.
first, me not taking the criticism in a positive light? erm do u see me getting upset about it? its an opinion that i respect. if people are into it, cool. if not, cool. im not going to totally change my sound to please you, or a handful of people on this forum. the track has gotten very good feedback both live and online. if people dont like it then whats the big deal? theres ALWAYS going to be people who arent into this or that. why loose sleep over it? you cant please everyone all the time. im staying true to what i believe in. this is a track i believe in, its a stupid, simple track. its not meant to be anything other than that. its got over the top samples and over the top 4/4 beats.
gotta take the rough with the smooth. the negative comments on here are all fairplay to me. im not going to change my sound over it, and as ive said, this is just one track of a few that im currently writing. and the rest are not all like this.
you are getting a bit of a sandy fanny if im honest over this, you make it sound like i should be HAPPY to receive this negative feedback, like you are some sort of be all and end all and what you say goes? dude, you dont like the track, thats fine by me. but making it sound like i should be appeasing you all because you clearly know better than i do about my own music is a bit strong.
