The Internship (2013)

A positive surprise undoubtedly thanks to them near universally bad-ish reviews. More a charmer than a laugh out loud comedy, like a lot of comedies used to be back in the 80s. At least the ones about the not so popular underdogs going against the odds.

Good Vibrations (2012)

A history lesson full of good music and, as the name promises, good vibrations.

I'm So Excited! (2013)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av28lWMCgHg

A client said to me in a meeting back in 2008, when the real "Margin Call" happened, that the good ol' days of yesterday shall never ever return. 'I'm So Excited!' is on the surface a fairly light, hilarious and enjoyably absurd comedy but at the same time it's a product of that fundamentally changed world that has formed since the client made that remark. A world with a bleak economic present and an even bleaker economic future. Of course you can easily ignore the statement about our times part of it and just simply enjoy the comedy – most people undoubtedly and unknowingly do – but if you do so I do not think you can really fully enjoy and appreciate the film.

The Way Way Back (2013)

Not quite as high on the long lost 80's classics list as 'Adventureland' but still pretty fuckin' great.

Ill Manors. Im absolutely amazed with that movie. Its directed BY Plan B, he did a soundtrack with every song related to the situation and characters in the movie, absolutely amazing!!. Must See, another brilliant british movie. By the way, still thinking the best movies come from UK, france, and the most brilliant from South korea, even so, 95 % movies I watch comes from states...
