Nice Break & Enter redo, like it a lot. Even the hihat pattern is kinda "ripped off". Could use a little more punch in the drumhits, but nothing he can't fix.

the prodigys new album will not be for audiences, just for liam to keep tweaking over time until he dies.

Well The Prodigy have always been known for taking what is popular at the time and flipping it on its head and twisting it up with their own style. Look at the scenes throughout the different eras and you'll see how The Prodigy did their thing with the different scenes. Except for maybe "Invaders Must Die," each album worked with what was popular in the electronic music scene at the time...

Experience... you had the hardcore breakbeats of the warehouse rave scene and the sub bass.

Jilted... the progressive house movement starting taking hold, trance synths and four to the floors.

The Fat Of The Land... the big beat sound, take those old school breakbeats and slow them down with some booming bass hits and rock/funk influence.

AONO... the dirty electro French disco sound.

now for Invaders Must Die... well that was The Prodigy's big return, they're statement of "We're back!" This wasn't about taking what was going on at the time with music or trying to revolutionize a whole new movement. It's simple... "We Are The Prodigy" and that's what IMD was about... reclaiming their place and showcasing what the band is about from past to present to future. I felt Liam took everything that preceded it and threw it into a blender to create IMD... took the best of all phases of Prodge.

As for the next album, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some dubstep influence in there. Are we gonna get some brostep Prodigy album? Absolutely not. But trust me, some of the sounds from the current scene will make its way into the new record because that's what The Prodigy have always done. Remaining original while bringing the the influence of the current electronic music and completely flipping it and giving it that Prodge sound. Pretty much every tune post-IMD has had some sorta dubstep influence in it. Of course you're never gonna get some Skrillex sounding tune, but I'm sure you'll hear some wobble thrown in there.

I'm sorry, but there's not denying the fact that the elements are in there and I like what I'm hearing so far. It's exactly what I expected with the current style of music.

What I like about the current electronic music is the emphasis on the bass. Give me more of that. I wanna a fucking pure bass rocking Prodigy album. Give me shit that rumble the fucking subwoofers. Some fucking Charly Trip Into Drum And Bass rumbling. If Liam takes any influence from dubstep and the current scene, I hope it's the bass element. Not just booming bass drum hits, but pure sub melodies. Give me more that. Electronic music these days are all about the bass... The Prodigy need to bring it in the bass department.

But as always, I expect Liam to take the current state of electronic music, twist it the fuck up with pure Liam-classiness, and deliver a banging bass driven Prodigy record.

I'd love a silent record. No limiter, no top end digi crunch, no dubstep master, no shit. Just good old pump with me and my volume knob deciding the level of kaboom.
