Maxim should have just replied "Go f#&$ yourself, fans."

vague answers like these make me worry about the state of the new album. where's the excitement? are they just writing an album for the sake of writing an album without any enjoyment whatsoever? i dunno, the vibe just doesn't feel right when the band gives statements like these.

at least be like, "Yeah, we're working on new stuff. Got lots of amazing tunes brewing that we can't wait to show you."

Every interview with Maxim lately has been the same answer regarding the album. He is concentrating on his DJing and says he likes to keep the two things separate.

Can't see any rocksteady album news coming until Liam is ready to divulge information.

Nothing against Maxim but 9 times out of 10 his answer to any question in any interview is vague and lacks enthusiasm, it's been that way the whole of his career. Compare him to Keith who's generally both very articulate and bouncing off the walls with excitement.

No one should be surprised or worried by this, I think it's just the way he comes across.

Probably closer to two years ago more like it.

Liam said himself that 7 years was too long a gap between albums, and that it won't ever take that long again. I am worried things are heading that way (or worse) again. So, remember IMD was out in fucking 2009... If the next album comes out next year and IMO that's a pretty big fucking IF, then that's a 5 year gap! That's about the same as the gap between AONO and IMD, even with the whole TL:TS tour that kept them busy for some of that time during that period they still managed to get IMD out 5 years after AONO.

5 years on from IMD and they've got some half to near finished tunes they throw out every now and then while they're still rockin the IMD era tour that they said ended with the Warriors Dance festivals.

People around here get upset when people complain... Well fuck, it's hard to be optimistic when your favourite band/musical idol takes this long to put a single fucking tune out.
