Yeah, it’s funny. Certain things that I was doing 10 years ago are appearing now. Not to say I was at the forefront, but I do music my own way and certain things come around. I think people today are a bit more freethinking and they express themselves like that. People just write music now and I kind of like that.
not that maxim is lying about it, but liam did the production on that track, amirite?

Pretty sure Maxim didn't release Experience in 1996 neither

Liam remixed original track. And then remix became original version with Liam as co-writter, not remixer.

We are Noize
Quote: Maxim's new collective is aptly titled We Are Noize, and is gearing up to release a debut trapped-out piece of beef twerky, "Dolla Flick" on their self-titled label, May 12. The familiar 808s of modern trap are there, but thanks to Maxim's dogged prowess "Dolla Flick" is turnt-up in a way that sticks out in today's abyss of dance music.

heard this already...
this track was in his DJ mix, i remember that female vocal.
it's alright for what it is, a trap tune.
i enjoy the 808s, so it doesn't bother me.
but of course folks are gonna hate it if the music touches any of the current trends of electronic music.
hey, i'm glad to see Maxim have fun and do his thing.
better than anything from his "Fallen Angel" album, though his "Hell's Kitchen" album is a fave.
Liam should be dropping some white labels and show how to do this 808 bumping properly.
