Since crap has been so dead news-wise...
Let's do something fun...

I thought it would be cool for each of us to create our very own Greatest Hits collection of The Prodigy.
This is for each of us to discover what kind of fan each one of us is.

YOUR LAW: The Prodigy Fan's Personal Greatest Hits Collection

Post your order for the board to see.
Our job is to go through our collection, put together your selection of tracks, sit back, and experience YOUR LAW.

Now there are only THREE rules...
#1 You can ONLY pick 14 tracks... please, only fourteen... that's a ONE and a FOUR. No ties for last place nonsense... it is not allowed. Difficult choices and cuts are what makes this worth it. Plus, the point is to keep it a reasonable length for folks to listen to and everyone's personal selection is at an even playing field. Everyone only gets 14 tracks.

#2 This only includes officially released tracks (physical/digital albums, EPs, singles, compilation tracks) as well as tunes the band have personally posted online on their official site and official Soundcloud (such as "Death Of The Prodigy Dancers (Studio Mix)," "Who The Fuk Is Eddy Cochran?," "Spacehopper," etc.) If it's a specific version of the track from a certain release, be sure to specify that as well. But no bootlegs/live only rarities are allowed in your greatest hits collection. This isn't meant to make things less fun or ruin your greatest hits. This is to allow folks to be able to take your order/selection of tracks and be able to pull the songs from their Prodigy collection and be able to listen to it. Selecting some obscure version of a track played or a one off live only track is just going to make things too confusing and people will be unable to properly listen to and experience your Greatest Hits. The whole point is that we can all sit back and listen to each other's selection. When it comes to the tracks the band have personally posted on their website and Soundcloud, let your voice be heard if you don't have it and let's try and help our fellow Prodge fan out through private message. Of course, the sharing of officially released material is a no-no.

#3 Order the tracks in the way you want people to listen to it... Let's make this creative!
Rather than just from oldest to newest ::yawn:: or just slapping tracks together... that's boring! Make yours the best Prodigy experience... take us through YOUR journey into discovering what's great about The Prodigy. I don't know about everyone else, but I would like to be able to listen to each person's selection.

Hey, it's not like most of us don't already listen to The Prodigy non-stop every day as it is...
Well, now here will be a new way to experience them! With YOUR LAW!

...and those are the rules!

14 tracks, now that'll be tough... but let's make it fun!
Put your selection in order up, maybe say a few words about how you got into the band and the decision behind your selection, and we can put the tracks together on our end.

As a community, it'll be nice to actually sit back, listen, and discuss.

Who's with me?

I posted this idea on the official forums as well a while ago.
Took my time... getting down to just 14 tracks is tough.
But that's a good thing right? It means they have a ton of great tracks.
But I'm curious to see what everyone else's faves are.

I find it funny that I have no issues with Keith and enjoy his contributions to the band... but was surprised to see that barely any Keith featured tracks made it on my top 14.

Can't wait to hear your selection.
Once you post your list, I'll take it on my end and pull the tracks from my collection and listen to your order.
Fun and new way to experience classic Prodigy tracks while be for the next millennium when the album finally comes out.
;)

Nice selection there, mate!

Hey, another Piranha lover!!!
Glad to find another person who loves that choon.
That song almost made it onto my list... so close.
Battle between TMTTH and that track.
I always see Piranha getting bashed on here and I seriously don't understand why.
I think that track bangs, one of the best IMD era tunes as well.

Why Liam didn't drop it live is baffles me...
literally the only IMD track not played live on tour WTF?
I mean Stand Up is technically not performed live in the set, just put on the speakers after their set... but still! come on, Liam!
Rock Piranha live, Liam!
has all the makings of the perfect live track.
Leo and Rob can definitely rock along with it live.

Also, Razor... another great track.
Possibly my favorite Keith led track... vocals are great on that one.

Lots of Fat Of The Land era stuff, sweet!
Favorite era of mine as well... great album with great b-sides.

Gonna give YOUR LAW a proper sit down and listen first thing tomorrow :D

Exactly, that's what makes these personal Best Of's so interesting...
Everyone is unique and different in track preference.
