Pretty sure it's just to shut us up.

Yeah, I hear ya.
I was thinking back when Invaders Must Die was coming out. How XL put out the the gold edition of Experience: Expanded and More Music From The Jilted Generation around the release of their new album, which felt like a cash in. The Prodigy had something new out and here was a chance for XL to made some more cash off them if folks who pick up the new album end up digging it and wanting to grab their other releases as well. Would be sweet if we were getting a single or something toward the end of the summer or fall. This would be the perfect opportunity to cash in again. Here's the brand new Prodigy single... oh look, here's the collection of all of Prodigy's previous hit singles altogether. I was more hoping around the new album release, XL would pull another IMD older album re-release situation and come out with a proper Fat Of The Land and AONO expanded editions to cash in on the new album release.
I'd love to pick up this silver vinyl edition of Their Law. Too bad they're not releasing the bonus disc as a vinyl. Love to get tracks like Back 2 Skool, Razor, Voodoo Beats, etc. on vinyl.
Hey XL, if you're listening... it looks like the Their Law singles double vinyl will be the blue cover. Come out with the bonus tracks as the red badge cover vinyl. Forget the live tracks and just keep the studio track stuff for it, probably keep it as a single vinyl that way. I wanna rock Back 2 Skool proper on vinyl. BOOM!

Oh man! I wonder if they'll be working on it NYC? i'm only 30 mins away. i wonder if they'll use the The Lodge. it's where they worked on AONO and I believe they did the original mix and master for IMD before going elsewhere. i won a contest back in the day to view World's On Fire release with bloggers and press. They did it at The Lodge. Place was pristine, really sweet spot. If they were in NYC, would have to camp out until I see someone from the band.
