I wasn't sure whether to post this or not but I felt like giving my fellow fans a nice bit of info. So yesterday was one of the best days of my life,

Literally 10 mins before going in for a job interview (which I got btw) I saw the king himself standing on the street waiting for something. I won't say where out of respect to him but I instantly said "Liam Howlett?" and he went "yeah man!"

Anyway I wished him luck on the new album to which he replied "it's coming out soon!" Managed to get a photo with him before I left

If I see him again on my way to work I won't bug him but I'll definitely put a fist in the air out of respect

Nice pic!

I would have asked him 2-3 things but usually in those situations most of us cant think straight

Agreed...a banging album or at least 1 awesome single.
Except from the band i like the Daft Punk,Chemical brothers and Depeche Mode....mostly their 90's albums.

Daft Punk's last album was different and overall mediocre if not bad.
But ''Get Lucky'' made the difference , it was amazing.

I hope that even if the album is not great at least we will get 1 or 2 great singles.

Rockweiller sounded really good.Do we have a new version or a better recording? Do they play it live still?

In a nutshell:

There's a new album title but he wont reveal it yet. (Definitely wont be called How to steal a Jetfighter)

It will be coming out this year.

All the tunes for the album have already been written. He's just going through them at the moment and improving them.

Very violent sounding, doesnt feel as radio friendly as Invaders Must Die.

"We've got loads of new stuff, but at these big shows people don't want to hear fucking new stuff."

This is the best news...something tells me that all the crap we heard so far will not make it to the album.Maybe some parts of the songs will.

It's not so much old-school. It's neither guitar-based not synth-based; it's kind of a mixture." He added: "It doesn't feel so radio-friendly to me; it feels like its got a lot of edge."

Dont know what to think of this... :?

''will be out later this year. ''

summer '15 it is...

He mentioned in an old interview that parts of that old Heat Wave tune were being used for new stuff. Wonder what became of that.

"I've written everything and I'm basically going through each track and making sure they're firing."

Now that sounds kind of exciting.

Howlett has now said that the album will "definitely not" be called that

Good thing. It wasn't exactly a title I would give to any album :)

And it looks like they dropped the How To Steal A Jet Fighter title like I thought they would.

Wonder what the new title is...
