Allright no need to get childish, prodigy are one of my favourite bands but that doesn't mean I have to like all they're songs. Forget die Antwoord Rockweiler is a weak prodigy song, compared to any of their previous work let alone anyone else's.

I'm not getting childish , i like many songs from other bands too , many even more than Liam's.
I just say that in this case you are simply wrong.
Rock is better than the other song.

Very happy with the news of new album nearly finished. I think new Rockweiler is brilliant and by far the best version, really sounds like Prodigy now, I get that unique Prodigy feeling with it that I only get with a good Prodigy tune. Bit disappointed that AWOL isn't on the album, but hopefully it'll come out as a bonus track...
As for coming out this year, I really want to believe it will and I hope it does, but even if it doesn't I'm confident with thus news it'll be in early 2015 at the latest. Fingers crossed for this year though. Getting excited again at last!...

Thanks for your opinion.

yeah im afraid this just sounds like run with the wolves crossed with some lyrics about a well dressed rapist. doesnt even begin to make sense.
i feel like we have all been trolled by liam since IMD

Yeah, it sounds like Prodigy, just like Razor or BGAT or so sounded like Prodigy. Still, they weren't good tracks. I can sound like Prodigy also, but I could never write a song as good as TMTTH or Climbatize or Spitfire or so.
Rockweiler is just so formulaic, there's no surprises or great arrangement or like a cool lead sound or a funky break or anything in there. It's wayyy to loopy and copy-pasty to be up there with the really great Prodge tracks.
This is - and you can all argue as much as you like - a very commercial sounding side of the Prodigy.
So, the usual disclaimer, as criticism gets taken as "he's hating on everything they do" - I'm looking forward to their stuff and AWOL sounded promising, as did the sunlight-riff and some other bits. But it's probably not gonna be their most creative effort, regardless of Liam titling it their best record yet. Which is what every band says about their last album. Would be silly not to.

I know what you mean, I've mentioned it a couple of months ago. Sadly, all of their latest tracks have been like that (AWOL, Jetfighter etc.). It's always the main part + chorus that gets looped twice, then the track ends after 2 min. No twists or change of direction like their old tracks.
Still hoping it's gonna be different on the album though.

like they said, it feels like they have taken omen/tmtth as an template on it. more even omen in this case. it sounds cyclical, same over and over. but it totally works with omen doesn't it, it rocks Live, and so can be with rockweiler, it doesn't have to sound clever, it just have to bang Live, thats all they go for now. which is 50/50 - good and bad.
but true, it sounds most commercial they'v ever done.. biggest minus might be, it gets boring fast.

...and Beat55 turned into Omen, a great commercial success and also loved by many long-term Prodigy fans, too.
Point is that live tracks that aren't studio releases yet can still change into something completely different AND be a success as well as staying true to what makes fans love The Prodigy.
I have high hopes that Rockweiler on the album will be very different to what we've heard so far. As we all know Liam likes the surprise element bitch slap bad ass first listening session with every new album. This album will be no different. I'm highly excited to hear what Rockweiler will become, among 10-11 other new tracks. That some of them turn into a commercial success, sure, fine. Other half of the album will, just as any Prodigy album, feel 'underground'. It's not selling out, it's keeping the band and the fan base alive. Bring the album on!

Rockweiler on the album will be pretty damn close to the latest live version.
Too late for Liam to change it completely out of the blue.
