i know it's a long shot...
but i was thinking that the Swiss might get a new tune tonight.

my reasoning...

Liam posted a pic on Instagram and it showed a MicroKorg sitting on top of his Virus TI2 Polar. and the MicroKorg's keys had pink stickers marking certain keys so he'd know which keys to play. the thing is, Liam hasn't used the MicroKorg in his live set up since the AONO/Their Law tour days. i thought it was interesting that he specifically posted this pic saying they were preparing for the show tonight. Liam's been kinda sly with his pictures lately, such as the one mentioning the new album and on his computer screen you could see/read "Get Your Fight On (Album Version)."

So I was thinking that it was possible Liam may have brought the MicroKorg with him so that he could play the parts/synth sounds that he written in the studio for a new track live with it. Seems strange that he would all of a sudden bring this synth with him after years of not using it. I don't know if it was present on Invaders Must Die, but I do know it was heavily used on AONO, such as the track "Who U Foolin" which is uses some presets from the synth.

Just an idea, would be nice to hear something brand new from the album. Especially since Liam confirmed that there are officially 8 tracks written at the moment. Come on Liam, give us one of them mate!

I sure hope so because liam said he was finished writing the tracks in the sonisphere interview and that he was just perfecting them. Having an album shorter than their shortest (fotl with 10 tracks) would suck.

i doubt we'll get less than 10 tracks...
can't really count that as an album, unless each song is an epic eight plus minute opus.
if we're lucky, we would get 11-12 tracks
most likely get a solid 10 track, 45 minute album.

Yeah but aside from that those tracks were still from the era when Liam would do long tracks, so the time length for that album is still going to be significantly longer than what we're about to get, given the trends in his music lately

yeah.

And IF AWOL makes it onto the album, I could imagine Liam also including AWOL beats, kind of how it was with Omen and Omen Reprise @ IMD.
