Jetfighter? This track will be not released (and thank god). Awol will be released as an bonus (maybe) and Get Your Fight On is completely different ;)

I find it all a bit confusing knowing The Prodigy as well as i do as a fan since 1991, for Liam to be writing the majority of an album without testing the tracks live is a big thing, we know his best writing days are well behind him but now and again he can come out with some killer tracks so i'm surprised for as busy as they have been this year touring, and how close the album now seems to being finished in between that we've barely heard anything new.. Rockweiler and maybe one more track AWOL or another?.. I understand how AONO was written as the band weren't really together or at least touring when he wrote it so thats why we never heard anything, this time though, i find it a bit odd, it all seems very rushed, The Prodigy are at their best live, even if a lot of the stuff since and including IMD wasn't the best stuff they have done, the live performance was still good, i wonder how they will completely re jig the setlist with a few new tracks they've never done live... Lets see eh?

It's kinda obvious why they keep the tracks. In the times of videos being uploaded in minutes and hours after the gigs, the only way to keep the album a surprise is to not play it at all before the release. Mark my words, no live gigs until the release date.

I agree 100% and tbh with IMD we knew most of the good tracks long before the album was out which kind of ruined it for me.
I guess Liam saw some youtube video and thought the same thing.

I kinda like the idea of them not testing the new tunes live. I know it'd be better for them, but I like that they have to think about it and analyze what would possibly work best, imagine the crowd response and all that. It's additional work for the mind, which I think could be a good thing.

according to last NME interview, they have played two tracks off the new album - rockweiler and get your fight on. (AWOL, Jetfighter confirmed not to be on there...highly doubt about dogbite also) and i think it's amazing. there will be greater surprise element this time.. and i don't think it's rushed at all, i believe it's thought through very carefully... it has been 5 years.

if there really is 10 tracks we haven't heard before then we are going to hear some of them when they do club tour/brixton gig in the end of the year... it will probably happen even if album comes out in the beginning of the next year..

Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins only just finished the first of two new albums coming. He just announced the release date yesterday for December 9th. That's less than 3 months. I think the 3 month lead time isn't the norm anymore with the way the music industry has been reshuffled. There's still a chance it can come out this year. We'll at least get a single and some new stuff if they play gigs at the end of the year.

I guess most time goes to marketing etc.

12 tracks, hopefully + awol. That swing beat gets me going like no other prodge tune.

I don't care what they call it. It can be The Dirty Underpants for all I care - I just need it to rock. Hard. 12 tracks or more would be nice.

I also agree that this day in age it's best they don't do 6 months + of track testing live, I wont be able to resist the you tube uploads and will have heard it all by release date. I want it to be fresh for my ears!

I think MoozeBlaster was including the actual five year wait, not just the time mentioned recently.

Hence the "What?" As in five years = rushed.

Worlds on fire (song) was ruined by playing live and editing last minute before the album got mixed/mastered. Im thankful they are avoiding making a dumb move by over thinking the record.. (K.I.S.S)
