E-MFTJG 2 years
MFTJG-FOTL 3 years
FOTL-AONO 7 years
AONO-IMD 5 years
IMD- 6th 6 years

Lame as fuck. this only shows that the band lives from the past hits and replays the same shit live over and over. Sometimes i just think its better for them to just call it a day and go on on something else than The Prodigy.

It was never going to be this year. Liam was still writing it until a month ago. It's nearly October and they are still mixing it and there's been zero marketing yet either. My guess is that we will hear a title track or single before the end of the year via Zane Lowe or something.

It is the people's fault that keep on buying those tickets if you ask me.
I have seen them live a few times but i would not go to listen to the same songs all over again even if they played next to my house.

I forgive Liam for tha gap between FOTL and AONO , he did not know which direction to take ect . But 5 years for IMD and 6 for the new one is too much even if this album is the best dance album ever. There is no excuse and i dont want to hear any bullshit like : ''they have a real life ect ''. What life? spend time with their family, drink, party and wake up whenever the hell they want without thinking about financial issues?
I dont know...maybe they started to run out of money and they thought they must release a new album and tour a bit. Hope iam wrong.

*I like the Chemical Brothers a lot too since the ''Dig Your Own Hole'' album.I dont want to compare them with the Prodigy but look at the album release dates.

Exit Planet Dust: 26 June 1995
Dig Your Own Hole: 7 April 1997
Surrender: 21 June 1999
Come with Us: 28 January 2002
Push the Button: 24 January 2005
We Are the Night: 2 July 2007
Further:June 2010

Not to mention another band i love , the Depeche Mode. 13 albums i think and never a gap longer then 4 years lol .

Waiting sucks...
But I won't hold it against Liam.
He obviously only writes a new album when he is truly inspired to write one.
I'm sure Liam could knock out an album every year or two, but it doesn't mean he will be completely behind it.
He writes when he wants to write and is feeling the vibe.
I'll take waiting for a proper album than getting some regurgitated paint by numbers album.
I think Baby's Got A Temper's negative response really shook him and he won't just put something out... which sucks because I really like that track.
And that negative response caused Liam to bin everything.
We could have gotten an AONO ver. 1.0 in 2002 and a follow up that became the actual released version of AONO in 2004 with only two years in between.
But I think the whole falling out and negativity really got to him and causes him to overwork things and second guess himself.

Yeah....that is why he delivered those ''masterpieces''....AONO and IMD .

Hey, I love IMD...
The Fat Of The Land and Invaders Must Die are my favorite albums... direct and powerful.
and there could have been an awesome Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned with a little more work and some tracks switched out with their better versions and some of the left out tracks taken the place of a couple chosen to be on the album.

Yeah I agree...
I guess we are lucky that we got the Lost Beats EP
It would be wicked if we got something like that with a deluxe edition of the new album. Seems like Liam has some extras from the stuff they dropped live and kept off the album.

I really want that Bratislava version of "AWOL," prefer that one over the usual rocky one they perform live. Or hoping Liam turned that into something else maybe. Then again, "AWOL" is an IMD era leftover. Perhaps Liam tweaked it since then, but it was mentioned as a leftover tune from that album.

Speaking of Lost Beats and SPECIAL FORCES bashing IMD...
"The Big Gundown" is one the greatest post-FotL tracks from the band.
It's up their with great b-sides like "Rhythm Of Life" & Pandemonium" & "One/No Man Army."

I guess we're never getting ["Dead Ken Beats" since it was suppose to be a b-side during the IMD era. Thinking it was meant to go on the scrapped "Thunder" single.
Man, I really want a studio version of "Thunder Dub," love that mix.
It was my favorite track off IMD.

With only 1 good (but very repetitive, "loop"-ish) tune out of four?

Considering the rest of the unreleased tunes that Liam has laying around?

If only we could always be so lucky in our lives. :P

I'm not happy that the album is not coming out this year. Why even mention that all the tracks are done (as in written if not mastered) if they aren't coming out for another 7 months? Better to say nothing and then make an announcement close to the release date.

Anyone expecting a single before the album shouldn't hold their breath. These days singles only tend to come out just before the album.
