better from 10 minutes to 4 then 1 minute to 4. at least he doesn't have a writers block whatsoever. just a bit copying, pasting, rearranging and the man is done. except album announcement very soon. i won't be surprised to have the next single by the end of this month.

just phone him
"yo, master H here, wassup?"
"about that new album you make"
"what about it mate"
"i want MFTJG mayhem style mixed and mastered like FOTL"
"ic, mate, listen up.. just buy 2 cd players with 4 speakers (the fukking biggest you can find) and play them simultaneously.. respekt"
but seriously i totally agree with you. i missed that with IMD. as i mentioned earlier tracks like Run w/t Wolfs could get so much more vicious

Now to talk seriously...you cant judge much from those clips. But my instinct tells me that this album sounds like a more inspiring, epic, grand and intelligent version of IMD which its not something bad. Also i feel it will be nothing similar with any of the 90's albums and i do not think it is much more violent and dark than IMD from what we heard till now.
I think the ''building tools'' he uses are the same with IMD.The melodies and some beats remind me of the sound of IMD but he uses them differently in order to create something better. His mind is still tuned in the IMD era but he pushed his game further.
If you check all the albums including IMD each album had a different style and sound from the previous one. But this one sounds like the big mature brother of IMD. What do you think guys?
If this is a much better version of IMD with at least a mindblowing single i will be happy.

This is even more melodic than IMD, there are much more strings and, just the parts that we can hear from the clips are just less noisy than what we can hear from IMD: for instance Omen, IMD, Thunder and Run with the Wolves, which I consider the most noisy of the album. Till now just one from the clips sounded similar to IMD and was that video with the yellow graphic equalizer, which, I don't know why, but it gives me the impression that it is "Lightening" . The rest sounds just prodigy, I mean Medicine sounds really insane as Liam said, big beats and rave synth effect, Destroy the Melody sounds more Aono-style, Eagle- break sounds just stringy and melodic, Rockweiler sounds violent and melodic in the same time, Jetfighter sounds just prodigy, Awol sounds fuckin prodigy (even though i dont think it won't be on the album), Get your fight on sounds nothing special, just an IMD less dancy. Anyway, as far as I can understand, the evolution stays in the beats, not so clubby anymore, just more ruff, but with melodic elements in the same time. Much more than IMD.

very much true. no point to figure out too much out of these clips. indeed,
overall soundscape seems to be similar to IMD. (live rec of rockweiler, get your fight on + this new clip) .. he probably uses quite a lot same tools, like u said.
tho i think we really can't say how dark/uplifting this is comparing to IMD, we just haven't heard enough. this last clip is kinda uplifting, but it can be this "breather" we were told about.
i hope new album is more different comparing to IMD when it looks in the first impression. and if it is kinda similar, then i really believe he has pushed the envelope!

Wouldn't be surprised judging from what we can hear in the snippet. I wouldn't mind that at all, although I can see how people would prefer for The Prodigy to not rely on such collabs.
(Fun fact: The Qemists actually have a track which was called "Take it back")

I wonder if the drums are gonna be
a) big breakbeats like classic prodigy (FOTL style)
b) weak electro synth drums (AONO / IMD)
c) live drums recorded from a drummer

Great. Now we know another track name and we know for sure that this isn't death ray.
