someone needs to go and sneak into Metropolis this week! :P

Or look out for the single between December 8th-15th, 2014... perhaps on the 11th

I still predict an April release, at the earliest. I could also see them really hitting the festival circuit LEADING UP to an official release. It's not unheard of.

With that, you could see Coachella, Riot Fest or Lollapalooza or North Coast, maybe Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Voodoo Fest and then the usual UK/Europe fests. Within the next 6 months, you'll see two singles drop (ALA Invaders) leading up to a late Summer release. Again, at the soonest I see an April drop (one of the biggest release months every year).

Now I have a question for all of you....

Could this be the year Prodigy make their return to the states? They are in Australia in March leaving April wide open (for a return to Coachella).

No.
Why are they mastering it right now ? To leave it for another nearly half a year ?

This was sad about AONO and IMD before. Remember how Martin James hyped AONO just before it came out?

Side note: Why do all XL artists put a space before a comma?

This is exactly what I was going to say as well. Another recent example would the Foo Fighters. Sonic Highways was finished mastering way back in the summer this year. It was not released until last week.

That was because of the Foo Fighters/label marketing scheme with their HBO documentary series. They were releasing some tracks before the album release to coincide with episodes being aired on HBO. There were 3 tracks released before the album because at the end of each episode of their documentary series they would play the track written for that episode's story/city they visited. So that was the reason behind a longer delay in release from when the album was actually finished and handed in.

Kinda set myself up there. Another example then would be Nine Inch Nails with Hesitation Marks. Basically done in the spring of 2013 but not released until fall 2013.
