Interesting, definitely getting the feeling we're in for something special with this new album. Just hope it's finished soon, it's got to be soon surely?...
As for The Day beats being used in that other track, good to hear them used, although shouldn't that have its own thread as it's nothing to do with the new album?...

http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/smash-an ... e-old-sean
Quote: During the time between the smashing and the sentencing, Sean had been producing music on some studio equipment given to him by The Prodigy's Liam Howlett. "Once I came to jail," he told me, "I asked Liam to send me as many fucking manuals and technical books about production as he could. Because I wanted to learn about the science of sound. That's what I think can make a great producer; someone who can really analyse the sonic scape of a track, rather than someone who's just banging out beats."

Neil rated Sarm West on Facebook (5 stars) just few hours ago possibly indicating they might have finally finished their work there.
Then again who knows anymore

So The Day became just another left-over beat and he gave it to his friend. At least we got to hear it in some form, though it was better with the "day is my enemy" lyric and sounded definitely more banging in a live recording. This sounds very raw and demo-ish. Maybe that's why Liam thought it was just a beat and a live jam rather than a real Prodigy track.

Loving that Rotting Hill tune, would prefer an instrumental though. Definitely a Liam Howlett track.

Seems like there´s been some tiny modifications to the official site. The layout is still mostly the same. The mailing list pop-up thingy has disappeared too.
