I'm pretty sure he was allowed to play it.
They just don't want it recorded and online, most likely because a single is coming very soon for sale and don't want this floating around.
Plus, by deleting it, kinda helps with the whole buzz.
Psychologically, now you really want to find it and hear it more
Amon Tobin played I Am Legion tracks in his set several months before their album came out. Even their collab track Sunhammer was in his set way before Noisia's dropped.
I believe we are going to be blizted with info in January.

brilliant tune. That kind of arabic horn works perfectly with killer bass. Only Liam can write smth that genius. If remix sounds so great, what can we expect from the original?

Most remixes do have their playout in clubs before the actual release to create hype and to suss the crowd reactions in some cases. Pretty sure he would have been given the nod.
