Yep, the hey hey hey sample is definitely in it at 27 seconds and then again at around 2:20.
I wonder if the original will have the same BPM, it's a very fast track! If the melody is a good indication, then it should be pretty close I suppose. Good, I like fast tracks.

That is a great track. A great Drum'n'Bass track. Not much more. You guys really are excitable.

it is a great dnb track...it is the imagination that makes everyone go nuts.
We all think how good the original is but we all have a different track in oyr head. The only thing im sure of is that this album is better than the IMD crap many idolised here.

IMD wasn't crap IMO, it didn't have enough staying power for the age it takes Liam to release music again. I was bored after a couple of years with it.
Hope this one has that staying power, like the first three still do.

As long as Liam doesn't write music to LISTEN TO AT HOME it's probably not gonna happen. It's much easier to write "banging" club tracks than electronic music with an equal amount of sonic impact and home-listenability. I couldn't listen to the whole of AONO or IMD, it just got boring so quickly. There were good tracks, but as an album they didn't succeed. No real album layout, no concept, just one brick wall limited track after the other. People need to write ALBUMS again, not song collections.

Even the worst Prodigy music is still miles better than anything else for me. Been like that for more than two decades, can't see how it could possibly be different this time around.
It's funny how tastes differ, to me, IMD sounds like pure Prodigy, it's got that old school vibe with sped up voices, breakbeats, samples, strings and synths mixed with phat beats and modern electronic sounds/glitches. To me it sounded like an album made for the fans, at least, to the kind of fan I am.
Some complain about the fact that IMD didn't rally any new fans... I'm sort of glad it didn't. I couldn't stand that wave of "fake new fans following a trend" back in 97/98. It kinda ruined TFOTL for me. It took me years to listen to it again. I also believe that Liam lost his way because of that commercial success.
Anyway, bring on Nasty Nasty allready!

Just thought of what could be a fitting album title:
'Fight them on the beaches'
Reasons: the winston Churchill references, track called 'get your fight on' and 'ibiza', Sleaford mods appearing which would be apt considring the mods vs rockers fight on Brighton beach..
Any thoughts?

To me it was crap compared to the 90's stuff. Band's only album i forgot so easily.
