Take a typical festival crowd, have them have enough beverage and blow and they'll dance to a naked 4/4 bassdrum for five minutes straight. Getting a crowd all ramped up means nothing in respect of tune quality. Have you actually been to a Prodigy gig?

lets be honest, we can't entirely say anything Final about new music until we haven't really heard them live with along all the legendary tracks what have been there from day one.
They have 20 years of experience and they had Neil this time.. and u still think they unconsciously pulled wrong decisions production wise?

i never really liked Pendulum... i guess In Silico was an alright album though most people seem to bash it the most. but live, i always hated how they sound and that MC is atrocious. comes off so lame.

Using Pendulum as a reference for… The Prodigy? That is just tasteless.
Sure I've been to Prodigy gigs. How does that matter for the quality of Nasty?
A Prodigy track needs to be produced well enough to stand grounds in the living rooms, which is MUCH more difficult than having a track that's a live "banger". That's why it doesn't mean much in terms of track quality. Of course people will like it live. I even liked Fuel My Fire live, but don't like it on record.

I'm sure you've heard Liam say in countless interviews and countless occasions that the tracks they produce are to be played in a LIVE setting. There are obvious exceptions, Stand Up, 3 Kilos to name 2. But why should they produce tracks so you can sit at your coffee table and listen to each nuance and breakdown every single production value.
Bedroom producers have critical ears, i get that. Just remember the days when you didn't and how you got into The Prodigy in the first place.
