Saying that the noisia remix of omen is how the original should have sounded. It's on YouTube.

About nasty- well my mom a long time fan since no good doesn't like it, she's the person who actually got me into them when I was just a kid. I think nasty as a lead single is pretty weak, I remember Heston on maximum prodigy the audio book that mind fields was original gonna be the follow up single to firestarter but liam scrapped that as he thought the track was not a big enough follow up! what I'm trying to say is as a lead single there could have been a better choice. I do like the track, it doesn't sound as commercial as Omen, when I first heard that I couldn't help but think of pendulum :/ nasty is like a mash up of Pirhana, razor and run with the wolves. In my opinion. Anyway I'm going on abit now, this is my first post on here just thought I'd give my two cents :)

Hey, you gave your opinion while not insinuating that it's a fact, good job. :o
You do make some good points, although I don't really agree that it sounds like Pendulum.
As for saying it's not the best choice for the first single, we'll need to hear the rest to be able to judge.

well it's so obvious we're just stating opinions.
Would you want every single sentence to begin with "in my opinion"? because it's kinda implied that we're only discussing opinions here.

Fact: Prodigy released a single called 'Nasty'
whatever someone thinks of it: opinion.

I do not really see why people care so much what other people think of it. If you like it: cool, if you don't like me: cool. That's it really.

not just the beat is similar to Omen, also the way it kicks in before the actualy expected bar.
Liam also said omen was a template for a lot of the songs, so maybe we just notice that a bit :)

I don't remember in what interview this was said tbh, anyone remember?

Hey, thanks for the message.

The video took three and a half weeks to make (I know crazy) it was a pretty tight schedule . We did however conceptualize and plan it all out a few weeks prior to filming/editing/animating.

The band (well Liam) saw a video I made for a band called Bovine and wanted a video done in that style. Their label sought me out and the rest is history.

What is name of the director? Is he same guy who made this QOTSA video which Liam likes?

No it's more about the way that people state their opinion, like it's a fact and that since it's a fact, you're an imbecile (factual quote in my case) if you don't see that obvious fact.
I have no problem with opinions. Even better, I don't mind (care...?) when people have different opinions from me. I also don't try to convince people, at least I don't think I do (tell me if it's not the case).

I do come on here for the facts though. Also called info, as it's the best source of info there is on The Prodigy that I've found.

I am curious though, some people (not saying that's you) on here seem to think that the last good material that Liam made was MFTJG of TFOTL, but how can you still come onto a The Prodigy fan site if they haven't made anything good in close to 20 years...? I don't get this.

The day that The Prodigy will make something that I don't like, I may say something like "Well that's it for me, it's been fun but I'm done" and simply move on. Then again, I would probably just say nothing and just not come back.

Months ago i wrote that i wish Liam could write albums as good or close as MFTJG and FOTL.Another era but still incredible albums. IMD and AONO are mediocre compared to those albums but still the band is by far the best out there 4 me. Simple :)

We'll never get anything groundbreaking again, simply because everything has been done now. Styles and genres have all been mixed and merged, plus today everyone can't concerntrate on anything for long.

I also think Liam struggled writing this album. I feel he felt rushed after the whole jetfighter era didn't work out as planned and time was ticking on.

Having said all that, I love nasty. I was jumping around the room listening to it on zane. It's edgy, it has that unexpected 'the clash' sounding riff, the eagle break and even flints vocals seem to fit.

I think a lot of you have forgotten the Instagram snippets that have been posted. Invisible sun sounds epic from that short snippet.

Can't wait for the album. No matter what you think, at least we're getting 15 new songs. Back in 2002 I didn't think we'd ever get any again.

This is probably asked before: where did the rumour of the single came from? Love to have Rise Of The Eagles! I hope it's the final version of Eagle Break, that had so much more potential than just being a bridge for Nasty.
