It doesn't change it for me either.

could New Beats 2 (as of in Kiev, for example) be Rise Of The Eagles then?.......for many reasons the title fits that raw beat

Me, too, seems to to us all that "Rise of the Eagles" is gonna be a an instrumental, I think; I'm gonna buy a hard copy, for sure, but I'm also buying the iTunes version just so I can get a copy of 'Eagles' as a bonus.
Oh, and "Nasty" is turning out to be a monster track for me...I never was too keen on "Omen" and this tune is far better, as it's trashier, unrelenting, and I love the horror synth-stabs before the choruses. Bring it!

It is much better than Omen. Hate that song...like i hate the ''one more time'' Daft Punk song. Too melodic...almost pop lol.

To all those that think this is not groundbreaking etc. I'm not attacking your opinions, but I think Liam would be a fool to put a groundbreaking track as a first single after a fucking 6 years wait or whatever the time was. No matter what he would release, it will be bashed by those that set their expectations high, and loved by those that set them lower when they realized that it's ridiculous to have them high. It's simply way too much time, to make ANY of our opinions here reasonable at all. Therefore, I think we can lock the topic and delete it afterwards because any reasonable feedback anyone might have, will be here after we can hear more tracks. Trololol.

Yeah. Omen felt like it was TRYING to be melodic...rather than just having a melody. Don't like it when music feels like it's trying too hard.

Ya the thing is Liam already tried flipping the script on everybody once with the first single of AONO, "Girls", and what happened? Nobody understood it, except for us die-hard Prodigy fans. The rest of the world was like, "umm what? Where's Keef? Where's the guitars? I don't get it!" because that's what they expected after FOTL. In retrospect if they could do it all over again I'm sure they'd have made Spitfire the lead single on that album and people would look at that album very differently.
I love Girls and it was a brilliant track, actually ahead of its time back then, because a few years later the Justice sound was all the rage. Was just wrong place at the wrong time, and ultimately that album failed, and maybe an even bigger problem ended up being that they couldn't/wouldn't play it live. I know it's an old Prodigy cliche, but this will be a good live track and if the rest of the album is more Keith/Maxim focused, I have no problem with that.
I was completely expecting a "Keith single" this time around, and ya it's nothing groundbreaking and does sound like something off the last album, but I'm not really expecting Liam to change the world at 43 years old or completely change their sound anymore.
They made a very "Prodigy-sounding" record as a lead single. Doesn't mean everything else will sound like this anymore than Girls sounds like Action Radar, or Run With The Wolves sounds like Thunder.
