good points made here and there. good ones and negative. its all true though to some level, isnt it?
in a way, liam's absolutely right, but some of what he said refers to themselves.. about being lazy (apart from touring as such) and pushing the envelope. need to hear the album though, to back it all up, but the single is sure as hell not pushing it forward (liking/not liking not relevant here)
Jr wrote: Aono created justice ? Wtf?
justice was heavily influenced by aono.
on the flipside, liam was heavily influence by justice when writing invaders. for instance he said thunder sounds like justice meets out of space.

It is funny that newer fans have the perseption that when an old fan does not like the new stuff is because he is a hater and he is stuck in the 90's.
No...Nasty is just an ok song. If i heard WD on Zane instead of Nasty i would start opening champagnes ,posting how much i love everybody in here and start licking the laprop's screen.

i know, the Spor remix does sound better than the original. i havent posted a lot here, because some people dont accept that the song is weak or someone else's opinion about Nasty.
Nasty is disappointing, just that.

Our album was influenced by the Prodigy's Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned, and the album by Jackson and his Computer Band, a French guy who makes music out of cut-ups. Did anyone download Liam chatting on Triple J the other day? It's gone from soundcloud.
TIA

lol
Code: Do you like this period between the album being finished and it coming out?
Liam: I fucking hate it! As soon as I finish a record I want it out. This is the thing, right, what does my head in; in this day and age when everything is so fucking fast and we have the internet, why the fuck do we still have to deal with four months between finishing [an album] and getting it to people. It’s the only thing that hasn’t moved on. When I finished the album I was like, “So when’s it coming out then? Before Christmas?” They were like, “No, March”. The fuck?! Fucking March… It’s unbelievable. It does my head in.
but same thing is happening again right now...

Curious about wall of death. And 7 to 8 new tracks its hard to belive. Scraping old material, writing new beats then scraping them again. Same Liam, same interview. Nothing really new.

There was a damp problem that delayed the album.

good interview, some good, not so safe questions.
damp problem... well i guess it can be valid problem and mess some flow if you have to build new studio and all that.. but i guess he just could't get his head in the right place until last year, like he said.
i like the fact he went almost full analog and made lots of custom sounds making the record..
and all that "fighting against DJ scene" and all that talk that was going on them being alienated from underground sound and all that..
i like that part:
Quote: THE ALBUM WAS WRITTEN FOR US TO PLAY LIVE , DJS HAVE THEIR PLACE , WE HAVE OURS ,,, THERES ROOM FOR EVERYBODY …. WHAT IM SAYING IS PEOPLE SEEM TO HAVE GOT LAZY AND ARE BEING LAZY WITH SOUNDS , TOO RELIANT ON WHAT IS OUT THERE WHEN WRITING , I HEAR THE SAME DRUM SOUNDS / NOISES IN ALOT OF TUNES , FORMULA MUSIC I HATE IT . ITS GOT TO MEAN SOMETHING TO ME BEFORE I CAN WRITE ,, I GUESS BEFORE 2014 STARTED I WASNT IN THAT ZONE YET PROPERLY .
so like i thought.. their new album is ment for live experience mostly.. and he ISN't fuking off all the dj's. i like he's opinion. All that trash talk IS forwarded to EDM or whatever... electronic music what sounds same....
They are fighting towards these artists who are lazy and making big bucks headlining festivals...
