THIS IS NOT A DARK TUNE. You are only saying it's "dark" and "heavy" because Liam has said it is. Stop being a pathetic fanboy and base your own opinion. Dark and heavy dance music would be something like Technical Itch, Dom & Roland or Billain. Nasty is sadly just an embarrassing blot on The Prodigy's discography. This, coupled with his recent interview has left a real bad taste in the mouth, and leads me to think we're in for a real stinker of an LP.


Agreed, Nasty is definitely NOT dark tune. It's not shit, it's ok, I've said this countless times, but it's just an average tune, nothing imaginative and too much derived from the IMD era.

Of course, I respect people's opinions about being great, I don't think so anyway. But please, consider this;

1. old skool fans who don't love everything Liam produces right now (last 10 years) are not haters nor trolls.
2. some people should understand that praising whatever thing he writes and then expect everydody else to share the same enthusiam is absolutely ridiculous.

Now you can ignore my post or call me troll, that won't make you love The Prodigy (what they were for me) more than me.

It's an iTunes "instant gratification" track, which is a standard marketing technique for pre-order incentive that all major labels (and some indies) use on albums.

Look at any pre-order album on iTunes and any tune not greyed out is an "instant gratification" track (you can do more than one), this happens all the time. So Nasty isn't a "single" as such, but it can still chart as one.... think of it this way. Imagine when Fat of the Land came out and iTunes existed, a track like Diesel Power can still chart, just as an album track if enough people just bought it on its own without officially being a "single".
