I dare anyone that claims TDIME is too repetitive to listen to all of Jilted again and honestly say if you still think so.

What has to do with Jilted? Jilted is just pure art, untouchable and incomparable with this stuff. Don't joke. ;)

So you think that tracks such as voodoo people, their law, no good and break and enter are the perfect length, that they never sound repetitive, ever? :?

They are all repetitive and don't really build up all that much but are still amazing great tunes. I feel the same way about them as I do TDIME. Liam makes dance music, this is not a symphony...there is going to be repetition. Nature of the beast. It all fucking rocks.

Their Law is the only one that's too long. All the others are perfect imo. I just get lost into them when i listen to them. It's like they pull you in another world, make you appreciate the track, the vibe of it more. Voodoo, Break'n'enter, 3 kilos, Claustrophobic sting, Climbatize all take you on a journey, just sit back and get lost in them. The last 2 albums lacked these type of tracks unfortunately and so the diversity was mostly gone. Medusas Path was okaish and Omen Reprise had the potential to grow into something beautiful, cinematic, but it didn't go anywhere.

I was hoping for a 6 minute track on this album, maybe 2, one more energetic, the another one more mellow, but sadly i won't get it. I'll have to settle for the 90's stuff :(

Listening to it again. I kind of like it. The Commodore 64 synth tends to distract a bit though. But up to 1:40, its a pretty big tune. After that, it gets a bit messy, a bit lacking in soul maybe.

the 8-bit part and breakdown are a real gem.. a rare one!!
i'm not too keen in the aono style vocals but after a couple of listen they don't bother me anymore...
on par with nasty imo

The ending sounds interesting, probably ties in with the next track on the album.

After multiple of listens nearly close to 50 times and from what i've read so far from peoples opinions of TDIME is that a lot want to compare it to other tracks, I don't think it should be compared to anything The Prodigy have done previous. It should stand alone. I've never heard a viciousness and evilness coming from the speakers. The vocal is ghostly, straight from a horror movie from the 40's. The synths give it a different perspective of light before it fucks your eardrums again re-enforcing that the day is truly the enemy.

Word.

I've heard it 72 times today. My ears hurt so much but it's worth it!

Yeah, well I've listened to it 2120839 times and it sucks!

Seriously though, I'm not able to listen to my absolute favourite songs more than a few times in a row without becoming deathly bored of them. It's interesting that people with the highest tolerance for repetition are the ones enjoying it the most. Think people said similar things about Nasty (the few who loved it anyway).

I agree with Rickyoto, the compositional process is just changed and this is the point. I don't like to compare new trax with the old ones, because the results would be stupid. I just say what I think and even if The Day is not a bad track( I didn't say this), I just find it repetitive and I just don't like i. I'm glad that you guys like it, but, as already said, in my opinion a track has to be a more complete structure to be good, not just one note going over. I have anyway to say that I early like the keyboards part, just tastes guys. :P

repetitive? u mean like 'full throttle', 'warriors dance', 'diesel power' - pretty much whole jilted album?
this is still dance music. i don't know what you're usually listening to, maybe chopin or something.

exactly type of emotion i look for in a prodigy track, loving it. i think lighter synth part adds some soul to the track. production is very good, bass/synth stuff seem to be extra juicy this time...
give me something with little faster spin also, i imagine rock-weiler is going to be hell of a fucker!
i'm more excited then i was before IMD, from these first two tracks, i feel this album can go up to top 3 of my favorites.

i mean what i said, if it's not ok 4 u, i'm sorry. Anyway full throttle is not that repetitive. ;) Warriors and Diesel are.

Track's name should have been IMD not TDIME.

Nasty 6,5/10
TDIME 8/10
