Enjoy this last album for what it is, bc it's probably their last.
Liam...is that you?

Nasty was not so good. On the other hand most people including me loved TDIME. What we need now is a big beat fast dance killer.

Jup easily.
Not something like nasty, but fighter beat or under your wheels or phoenix? Sure.
" fuck off and keep your opinions to yourself" - so....no forum then?

The end of Nasty sounds like it goes into the next track as well, maybe every track bleeds into each other...

I'm convinced that the drums in the beginning of this track are totally inspired from the glitch mob!

I totally agree with you. And I’m glad I’m finally not the only one saying that here.
Unfortunately that didn’t happen since 1997.
WD and TMTTH where the closest since then but are missing that sub-bass of older tracks. Ohh and The Big Gundown/Comanche is close too.
Liam forgot the bass in the old Dirtchamber studio.
But this sounds promising and could be a Jilted style dance track.

I think people tend to praise tracks too fast. I've been reading the first pages and you have exaggerated way too much, this is not the best thing he has written since the fotl and it's no, no fucking way, one of his best ever.
Nonetheless, it's a very nice track, much better than Nasty but it's a bit repetitive, I like it, but it's not a track to be compared with Narayan, Break & Enter or even Experience era tracks (G-Force for example).
It's very AONO-ish, reminds me of Spitfire and Wake Up Call.

95% of Prodigy tracks are repetitive. I remember having Break&Enter on cassette, that meant it had some 3 minutes and when I finally got my hands on the cd version I was completely disappointed to hear that it's 8 minutes of the more or less same rhythm.
True, TDIME is an awesome track but not the best. IMD or AONO didn't have any tracks that matched or surpassed FOTL or Jilted. There won't be any tracks that will do that (those were Liam's most creative times and the music world was perfect for that). If Liam gets going every 5-6 years to write an album then you can bet you won't here a new SMBU/Firestarter/Voodoo type tracks or something to blow those away.
It's better to wait for the album to get a sense of where the music is going. To me Nasty doesn't sound like IMD and TDIME is not AONOish.

Hataz gonna hatz.
If Break and Enter got released today they would say "intro too long, meh" and Voodoo People? "Too repetive, too long, not Liams best work."
And Johnny16 my man, yes, people can make better remakes of Shoot Down and Phoenix. I consider them the worst tracks ever and wonder why Liam changed it so much from the demo version.

Don't be narrow minded man, I'm not a "hataz", I just said that I really liked the track but what I said is that it's not the epytome of electronic music as some of you stated earlier after the very first listens. Respect.
It's very AONO but on the positive side, not "Phoenix" way of things haha.
Break and Enter is an awesome tune and it "might" be repetitive due to its length, however, TDIME is just 4 minutes, that a factor to be taken into account methinks.

I agree, this is what i tried to say since nays came out. We're just giving our "immature" impressions. It's too early to give a final opinion.
For instance i remember that in the beginning I loved Warrior's Dance, than I listened to the hole IMD and now I'm not even anymore a great fan of Warrior's Dance. Now I can say that, even though i still consider it not the best, The Day is my Enemy is growing on me and I consider it better as i did 2 days ago, because I'm listening to it over and over.

It kinda felt like Experience meets preAONO meets MFTJG. I myself like the repetive Prodigy songs, you can listen to them forever. But yeah some people have other opinions, atleast this track got much more love.
But yeah i dont think Liam can ever make a track as awesome as Smack My Bitch Up with those drumbeats, real electronic raw shit and dirty crap all over it.
I do hope one of the tracks in the album gets close enough to it. Rebel Radio sounds FOTL-funky, hopefully it will blow my mind.
