Which is really sad, since some really great sounding stuff happened between 2000 and 2002, just think about these webloops. They had amazing definition and weren't as one dimensional as most things that came later.

Yeah it is not amazing but it is very badass and dark...reminds me of the old stuff's attitude. Makes IMD sound like the sountrack of spongebob.

Hello, first of all I want to ask you sorry for my mistakes with english.

In second hand, I want to give you my opinion about new songs from Prodigy. I started listening to Prodigy in 1992 with Out of Space. I'm from Spain and here, in 1992, it was absolutely impossible to listen anything from Prodigy in a normal way, the only option was to listen at them through satellite, this is how I did it.

Ok, in 1994 I saw MFTJG in a shop, in vinyl. At this time I listened only Out of Space and No good, I was expecting something more like Out of Space (at this time I was 14 only!) and well... I was really, really, really upset. It was like a "what the fuck I did just bought???" it was so different to Out of Space! Then I saw the video of One Love, Voodoo People and a few years later Firestarter and Breathe. At this time I was a real fan of them, I was buying everything from The Prodigy but with every new song I was thinking something like a "this one is not like the others! What is he doing?" And now I know what he was doing: what he wants, just this.

Liam always do what he wants, if we follow The Prodigy I think that we must understand this. This is not a pop group, they don't follow the normal scene. Actually my favourite album is MFTJG, I think this is one of the best albums ever created, his work is very accurate and professional. I like Fat of the Land, but not all the songs, it's like somebody was asking Liam to finish the album very quickly. But for sure I like all the albums.

We can not wait always for a new Out of Space, Firestarter or Breathe. He already did those songs, we already have them, and we should be proud of it. There's not more than two or three songs I really don't like from Prodigy, one of them is Pandemonium, other can be Phoenix... but I admire the work of Liam, for me is a real musician, and if I learned something from him is to not expect anything, just listen his new songs because, as I said, he just does what he wants, and I love it.

Don't compare, TDIME is NOT Poison or Omen or whatever you thing, TDIME IS TDIME, and I think you must listen as it is, not waiting other song. Hey, first time I heard Poison I felt like a "what the heck???" and now is one of my favourite songs :D

It's just my humble opinion.

Cheers!

I loved those webloops, I was very excited because of them and wanted to hear them on the forthcoming album, and I was very disappointed when AONO didn't had them. Then Back 2 School had the favourite loop from the site, but sadly it didn't make the album cut. :(

Well said. My fault is, I bogged down at 2002, and always expect that pre-AONO sound when a new album comes. I shouldn't expect any sounds from the past, just simply a new album and I will disappoint less.

I really understand you, sometimes I feel the same, but I think the reason we feel this is because is almost impossible to repeat Experience, MFTJG and FOTL, three albums, three masterpieces, one after the other. Liam (and all the group, of course) went far, so far, and now it's difficult to go as far as they went. Anyway, I'm happy with their new songs since FOTL. I liked AONO and IMD, Run with the Wolves, for example, was a direct headshot, all the album have a lot of energy, and I expect something similar (energy, not the same music style) in TDIME.

Can we not clutter this thread with AONO prequel wishlists? I come on here expecting news, this discussion is cool but seriously, another thread needed.

So yeah , on-topic anyway.

THE DAY IS MY ENEMY is the most violent sounding thing released in years. (To my ears that , is) .

And I , love it.

Come on guys , it's a different side of art for us.

Guys, I had this idea from the day 1 - to make a music video, using official graphics for TDIME. For 2 days I've been thinking what should it be, and then BAM - i see a conductor on a tv and i fucking come back home and edit this! Hope you enjoy and share with others!
The Day Is My Enemy + Orchestra, my fan-made video clip:

EPICSHOT!

PS Hope it's not superbad to copy my message across topics. Just really want you guys to see this and hopefully enjoy, just as I did making it.
