Not an answer, but since we're living in an era where people can buy individual tracks, the remixes will have been chosen as likely popular/club hits in their respective genres.

Let’s say Liam chooses a single track. Than he sends out remix packs to a bunch of artists he chooses. They deliver a track in a few weeks. They pay the artists. Liam chooses which remixes from the bunch will be on the single. Are the artits free to do whatever they want as a remix?
OR do they choose only the artists that are to be released and release the remix even if they are not that good?
Does the label have a say in the process or is it up to Liam? XL recordings in the past, Cooking Vinyl…
Does anyone with real knowledge know the process?

I think they select the artists that they (band and/or label) want to remix their tracks, they pay half of the money upfront and the rest once they deliver the track.
At least that's what i know!

Perhaps you mean compared to the video version?
Because yes, the downloadable version is indeed longer than the video version with the bridge extended. The Nasty Remixes version is the same as the free download given if you pre-ordered the album or just purchased the track on its own.

So this can be officially bought now?
Such an odd single release... no official announcement no nothing, very strange, and it's not listed on the official prodigy site under "Singles" too.

Just to go off topic for a second, I see boomkat.com says you can buy the "What Evil Lurks" EP in FLAC. I've never seen it available before in FLAC.

I bought it in mp3 back when XL Recordings sold their old releases digitally for the first time. There was no option to pick FLAC at that time.
Has anyone got it in FLAC and is it in decent quality? I'm wondering if it is taken off the original master which was used to press the 12". The old bootleg CD of it was copied off the 12", you could hear the vinyl crackle.

Yeah I know. But it has been available in wav at beatport atleast since 2007-8 ish if I remember correctly. But not in all territories! Now you can find it all over the place! They've used the original master, but they are not REmastered!
