A really good track is good even if your friend played it to you on his phone speaker on a bus.
Great sound quality makes a good track even better but it does not make a bad track a good track.
Nasty is not very good nether through a phone speaker from mp3, neither through high end equipment from flac. here is another person, that just had to emphasize how much they hate "Nasty" in the middle of a conversation. why is that? there are people loads of people that love "Nasty," but they don't have to always keep reminding people how awesome something is. it's always seems to be the haters that do this, just a curious thing that i noticed.
If we're haters are you guys lovers?

i guess, yes, we are the lovers.
i just don't have to keep saying how much i love something.
i keep my lovey-ness to myself.
but when it comes to the how vinyl vs. CD debate...
people are arguing about what they think sounds better, not what is actually better.
vinyl colors music with it's own harmonic distortion caused by the needle making contact with the physical vinyl.
on top of that, vinyl sounds warmer because it is mastered that way. not because it is better. as i said, in order to print a vinyl, you have to cut certain high and low frequencies while mastering so it can be cut properly and keep it from skipping.
too much highs, too much bass... you're vinyl is screwed.
so the sound of vinyl is not it being better, it's just from the distortion created mixed with the way the vinyl was mastered.
technically CD is closer to actual full quality compared to a vinyl.
but CDs lose out because of the whole stupid loudness war.
CDs could be mastered with the same warmth and sound of a vinyl, but you are altering the original source either way.
both CDs and vinyl are not what was recorded by the artist, but the CD is closer to what they did record because you don't have to cut frequencies like you do with vinyl and there is no distortion from the needle moving along the record like with vinyl.
there's no crackle or pops that comes with vinyl when you are mixing and mastering in the studio.
hence you are not hearing the clearest, fullest, purest version of the music that you can get with an uncompressed high definition audio file.
we may have to create a whole other thread just for this topic.
but hey, i bought the triple vinyl bundle/CD/shirt bundle because i do love me a physical product.
but i really, really want that lossless download that comes with it the most.

Sorry if it looked like I was hating on Nasty. I’m not a fan but I don’t want to beat a dead horse. Also a hater hates everthing. I just don’t like the track very much compared to other Prodigy tracks including TDIME.
I was just commenting on the argument of some people here that a certain track is good BUT ONLY if you have high-end speakers and a wav file.
I like The Day is My Enemy because it’s good from any source on any speakers or headphones. I do enjoy it even more played on my speakers from a flac file and loud.
A mediocre song (not saying I mean Nasty) won’t be good even on the best speakers in the world in best possible quality.

Agreed!
I was being over silly with Nasty, I really like it
But I won't call it their best song ever.
I really do not like Omen at all, least favorite song from IMD...
IMD doesn't start until Thunder for me
and i'm not afraid to say it, Thunder is one of their best tracks ever.
Thunder and The Big Gundown were the best things to come from the IMD era and up there with my all time favorite tracks.

Nasty is the weakest / poor track on the new album. I mean this is the info (couple of ppl said that) after full album listen. Also they said that Ibiza is amazing.
We will hear Simon (from Brothers Culture) on track like: Nasty, Rebel Radio, Medicine and Wall Of Death. Full vocals or quotes... i dont know but Simon confirmed it
Also Ive asked one guy who heard new album about Sunlight Out Riff and he said "part of the new album"
Get Your Fight On will be played live.

NEOREV... except a couple of guys here none hates Nasty. I just do not like it very much. I wanted something better but when the album is out i wont skip it. The only reason that most people here started to dicect and rip apart the song was because of the hype and anticipation. Anyone who hates someone or something dogmatic is an idiot for me. Also there is not only black and white.

Yes, that is true.
There is also fifty shades of gray.

Agree, its good track, but we all know that they can much better, like TDIME which is one of their best works.
Better than Omen? Of course, much better. Omen have its moments, but this tune is most commercial prodigy shit ever, and those terrible vocals makes prodigy to sound like a boy band. Its one of their worst ever.
