JimbQ wrote: I'm not often disappointed by The Prodigy but after a few listens now I really don't like this track. Sounds very commercial and only for a few short bursts sounds remotely like a Prodigy track. I'd go as far as comparing the majority of it to something you'd find on the second Pendulum album. More like a Justice/Subfocus sounding track. I enjoy about 40 seconds of it, ha Not one to post something negative, but will most likely skip or remove this from my playlist when I get the full album. Still though, many more tracks to come, so still positive Also, off topic but is the forum not working on Chrome anymore? Can't get it working on my phone or PC without having to use internet explorer. I use Chrome and it works fine for me. As for the track - well my opinion has not changed since I've first listened to the FB and Amazon snippets - sounds too much like Colours/Omen mashup. It has its good moments and elements but overall I am not a big fan of that old-school melodic sound. I prefer phat beats with loud bass, cool samples etc.. It seems that since Liam almost stopped using samples and started building his tracks on his laptop, his music lost some of its edge.. The sound is not that big and complexed anymore - now it's more plastic and it does not sound darker to me - just the opposite. That part with completely changing Get Your Fight On is scaring me a bit. I really liked that track and was hoping to find it on the album unchanged. Still I have big expectations on the new album and will never give up on that band!

Listened to it about a hundred times while driving in the car blasting the speakers.
I kind of like it I guess. Looking forward to the video tonight.
TDIME: 8/10 WILD FRONTIER: 6,5/10 (+-for now) Nasty: 5/10
But it’s almost like a rock song with drums a drummer would play and some guitar sounding stuff and a lot of singing.
I’m looking forward to a heavy beat driven no snare, no guitar, no singing track on the album.

First tune of the new album that doesnt sound as if it was made in the early 00's.
synths are very pendulum-ish.

definitely not what i was expecting, it's nothing like nasty or TDIME... a third different direction for the album.
I like it, but i'm not blown away like i was with TDIME...

Looks like the track finally made it's way to my headphones, it does sound commercial-ish. They probably went with a radio friendly track.
I like it, it's catchy. If I hadn't read anything from LH interviews, I wouldn't be surprised by this track after the awesome IMD.
It's got a bit of a Blade Runner / Vangelis vibe to it at the start, don't you think? Pretty cool and unexpected.
