Bwah! Oldschool is so overrated these days.

It's funny that LH is now going back to really oldschool electronic sounds, like in the very early days (I was a teen and innocent back then). Especially since I remember an interview from LH from just before AONO where he said he wanted to go back to the roots, electronic sounds with samples and "no fucking guitars, d'you know wot I mean?".

THIS is what I was expecting back then. Took his time, like always.

On another note, I had a friend of mine listen to the track, he's very excited and his exact words were:

"Ooooooh nice!!! Sounds like old Commodore 64 TRAINER music!!!"

yeah not sure about this one, thought it was a fan remake when I first heard it.
I Like that he's experimenting with more 8bit sounds but it doesn't totally work for me yet, that said I don't hate it.
Does sound a bit flat though.

After hundred of listenings my opinion is the same as after the first listen... one of the worst by The Prodigy. Howlett gives us promises about violent, brutal and dark sounds and then he releases melodic track like this. Also vocals are so cheesy that I even dont know who sings, Maxim or Keith. Sounds like something from Invaders Must Die, like older Colours brother or something. Liam got stuck in a IMD Box and can't get out... For fuck's sake how do You want to promote new album with crap like this? U want to beat pseudo/commercial dj's by this? Bring some dark, fat vibes with controversial video about Ibiza etc. Hope that Wild Frontier is the weakest track on the new album (I've heard that it's true).

Sorry guys but I'm very dissapointed after six years of waiting. Nasty is just ok (will be very good as an live track), The Day Is My Enemy is very, very, very good but Wild Frontier? Horrible.
